You can choose another option in the dialog and avoid slavery/BDSM - in exchange for a favor in the future (but knowing Philip, that would be a pretty risky choice for Monica

As for the 30K, I wrote about it above - when the whole big quest is completely finished by the developer, your Monica will probably be able to earn more money and 30k won't seem like something unattainable to her anymore. I'm not a developer and can only guess, but one of the most obvious assumptions is that Monica becomes a porn star (the Office/Photoshoot storyline) and working in that capacity for Miss White starts earning significantly more. But there may be other sources of income as well.
I, too, do not like to cheat and have been playing FB since the dawn of time and every penny Monica has earned she has sweated for.
