Guys, if you remember the first part, don't you have the impression that this was the beginning of the relationship between Monica and Fred, and the logical end comes in the fourth part? It is only because there are no events in the second and third parts that we feel dissonance.

Maybe there's no secret Fred's magical cock?

I don't think episode 1 set up any kind of potential romance or relationship between Monica and Fred. It set up Fred as a dirty manipulator of women and that Monica would eventually be blackmailed and coerced into sex as he did to Julia and the clerk at the petrol station. And if this angle between Fred and Monica continued up to these latest updates I would welcome every scene between them. Unfortunately this path has done a 180 degree turn from this original set up in their last few scenes.

Instead of having Fred come up with some interesting inducements for Monica to agree too, we have her just looking down at his crotch and then begin to leak like a broken tap. Fred just has to stand there and offer his cock as a reward for whatever chores he has in mind. The actual sex scenes between Fred, Monica and the neighbour have been of high quality and clearly DM has put a lot of effort into them. I just don't think they go with the themes of the game and show a totally out of character Monica.

I don't have a problem with Fred at all, it is Monica's loss of character during these scenes that I have the problem with.

my bet - Pornshooting
I'm not sure about that. I think it is probably going to be a simple event with legalporn-like shooting with a bunch of guys fucking Monica in every hole in two-three poses. I doubt that even that girl from the store is going to participate - it is probably going to be in future updates.

This will be a long answer, so I'll divide it into three parts.

With great respect, I disagree, at least about Ep 1, by the way the only episode that has any plot:)

We know that Monica likes to change her subordinates from time to time. However, there are exceptions that show that she values professionalism in some people. For example, Monica likes and appreciates her secretary. I think he sees the same in Melanie, but he would like to replace Alex with someone more professional.

Fred is of course a dirty manipulator (we can discuss Julia's case), but around Monica his behavior is impeccable. He is a professional and emphasizes it.
Monica should appreciate this, but for some reason she decides to fire him.
Maybe because he's too professional? Maybe subconsciously she would like a less professional driver?;)

Either way, Fred doesn't meet Monica's expectations and she makes a serious mistake by firing him. A mistake, because the fired Julia will easily be replaced by a new Julia and Mr. Buckfett will be able to continue to enjoy swimming in the basement pool whenever he wants ;)
Monica on the other hand, may never find a new Fred again. Luckily the phone rings and Fred is still in the game!!!

In the second part, there can be no mention of any "special" relationship between Monica and Fred, because for Monica, who cleans the carpet every day, the desire to be screwed is the last thing on her mind. (btw, who stole all of Monica's panties after deleting Bardie:)

And here we have a problem, because we have an obvious hole in the plot.
I must sadly write that Bardie is necessary for Monica to believably seduce Ralph. Bardie should come back.
Unfortunately, Bardie has been removed and needs a substitute.

So that's why we need our Fred.
Yes, that dirty manipulator Fred, who also took care of Julia, found her a job and maybe gave her his apartment (why not?)

Is there room for a relationship between Monica and Fred? Yes and no.
- No, because in the game Fred seduces Betty on his own initiative and then sends her to the neighbor's house. Monica just takes advantage of it.
- Yes, because we are playing a sandbox crap, and we have to "click" the plot ourselves. Unfortunately, in this game, creating a satisfying, porn-filled plot through choices always ends, as you rightly point out, in a whore simulator:(

Monica doesn't need money in this thread. She needs Fred to help her, without him she'll never seduce Ralph.
So let's leave the sandbox game for a moment and turn on "VN mode" to open a thread that is not in the game or, if you prefer, hidden (one of many threads hidden by the Dev, btw:) The plot of the deal between Monica and Fred. The deal thanks to which Monica successfully seduces the lonely Ralph. The price of which is, of course, sex.

Unfortunately, the Sanbox Game strikes back. Fred, for some unknown reason, attacks Monica in the yoga club's changing room. This is a fatal blow to the heart of the deal. "VN mode" lost:(:(:(

So in the next part we have old Fred, whom we don't like so much. Fred the bastard, who blackmails Monica.
Monica, who is no longer a neglected wife, is quite the opposite.

There seems to be no room for a love story here.

And suddenly, Fred wins the Trophy:love::love::love:

Yes, I agree that the thread is unbelievable and shows Monica completely out of character. However, the most important thing is the result.
Dev recently wrote in comment that "Monica is undergoing a change"
But she is still our Monica, only experiencing incredibly strong and new for her emotions. So let her leak if the Dev wants it to:cool:

Interesting but big surprise I don't fully agree:)

Monica likes to change her subordinates that have no real unique use to her. She can hire a maid or driver anytime. They will do the job that she needs. Her secretary is different. She did all the administrative work that Monica had no interest in doing herself. Sure she could hire a new secretary but Monica would need to take on those tasks until the new secretary was caught up with her duties. Monica likes and actually treats her secretary well because she is of great use to her.

There is no need to guess why Monica can choose to fire Fred. We the players read every thought that goes through Monica's mind. If she was firing him because of any other reason other than she just looks down on people and enjoys having the power to hire and fire them at will, we would of read about it through her thoughts.

You are right that anything that lead up to those first three days in ep1 and why Monica is the way she is has not been shown or explained to the players. But why she is horrible to everyone and fires her employees at a whim is perfectly explained from her own thoughts. She is narcissistic and believes she is both the most beautiful and intelligent woman on the planet. She enjoys having power over people she considers beneath her. Which is probably almost everyone. She just enjoys being cruel. There is no evidence that she had hidden feelings towards Fred or anyone else in ep1.

If Marcus never called Monica to the police station she would have had replacements for Julia and Fred by the next day and wouldn't have given either another thought.

We both agree the removal of Bardie and the plots around him are a big negative.

I like your take on a deal between Monica and Fred to seduce Ralph and I think that would of worked. That is not what happened though. You are right a lot is hidden from us by the dev but nothing is hidden with how or what Monica is thinking or doing. If she had some deal with Fred we would know about it. The things that are hidden to us are events that happen that Monica is unaware of or whoever is the POV character at the time.

Monica is going through a change, no argument there. I would prefer she doesn't go the happy slut route and stays the reluctant and self-deceptive whore.

And I'd rather she hang by her balls all the scumbags (including Fred) who bullied her in all 4 episodes of the game. At least, among all the other endings, this is my canon one.

If they had Monica learn anything or show an ounce of remorse I would agree, but they maintained her as the same irritating protagonist she started as. Melanie deserves a break all she did was try to help Monica and look where that got her.

I'm with you I would love to see a happier ending for Monica, but the terrible one note writing until now, makes me wish her a long unhappy life on the farm.
