I thought quite a while if I should write the following. First of all, I want to thank the guys who like the game and also support it, on patreon or "just" with constructive criticism. Both is very important for the dev, because he works full time at this project.
That leads me to another point: As some of you may know, I am doing the translation from english to german. I am in a frequent and deep contact with the dev and try to help him where possible. Not only with translation, but also with a 2nd opinion on some things in general. The dev has help since some weeks concerning artworks, he hired someone. His rendering stations work 24/7. I really can't understand why some people complain about the size of updates. v2.07, the last update, has more than 2.700 lines of text, over 2.000 new renders, story progression in the slums, the pub, the office and Marcus.
- With every citizen in the streets, there are three new scenes for each!
- New scenes with Ashley and Joe in the bar for each. Also new bar content.
- A complete new photosession.
- Content in the office, with Melanie, with Julia and Biff.
- New content with Fred and Julia / Monica.
- A new storyline with Melanie and Victoria (Dicks secretary)...
All this in one single update, the last update was released at the end of August, so 6 weeks ago. Playable content is 30-45 mins, depending on your speed. Fashion Business delievers you a hughe amount of content in a short time, still there are people complaining about "small" updates? I really don't get it? Are there so many games with more content for an update in such short time? Yes? Tell me... which ones?
I understand that some of you waited for several weeks and may be dissapointed that there is no real h-scene with Monica in this update. There is none, that's right, but there are a lot of very hot scenes. The game is no porn video where after 3 mins the action starts and doesn't stop 'till the end. This game was never intended to be so. It's an adult game with an amazing MC, a deep story and still a lot of lewd scenes. But still it's a game and no porn video. If you just want porn, go to well known sites. Fashion business is a game about corruption, lewd stuff, humiliation, BUT also about dreams, the very strong will to gain back power, power itself, who is behind everything, the relationship between people, which mostly is hard to say what the real intentions are. It's a fantasy world about the interaction of citizens. But also a world for dreams, whishes and human abyss.
So, all in all, maybe these lines make some people think when complaining again, which very hard work is behind all that. And yes, also passion. We want to create way more than just shallow porn. If that's not your business, fashion business is not for you. But for those you like the style and the game itself, I have to thank you again for your support and help. Please give us (useful) feedback about your likes and dislikes. Only that can improve the game.
