No need to mislead people and publish outdated developer's saves, the last of which is designed for Ep3 v4, passing them off as saves for Ep3 v8. For those who want to be sure that the save files are outdated - open file titles.txt and pay attention to the date of modification of all represented files (it is 2021.08.01!)

FFS play the game
it's not for fun developers use several years to create a game
and then some mod ruin the game
so play the game as it is

And this is what I don't understand. Decentmonkey does not need to do this.
They have excellent graphics, tons of animations, excellent production rate. Established patron base. They can easily complete this game and start a new one.
I'm sure they must have had so many idea which they could have executed but can't based on the premise they have already established in this game.
Decentmonkey doesn't need to worry and hence he shouldn't drag Fashion Business. It might be making money but technically the game is losing it's charm because of being dragged on.

In generell I think, that the game was planned to be much shorter. But the people liked it so much, especially the patreons.
I was a patreon for a long time and I too wished for more content with Monica...and DM delivered it.
The patreons were quite happy about it.
But i think, that the game will soon come to an end and after this update I have a clue how some paths will end:

So i´m not so sure if Monica has a chance to take back her company, the game is not designed that way.
The only Happy Ending is achievable in Episode 1.

I'm 100% sure that won't happen. The Fashion Business is the "hen that lays the golden eggs" and no one in their right mind would chop its head off. There are so many things that patrons and regular players expect from this game (Monica's service to Phillip as his slave, progress on a lot of the current storyline is still underway) and we still don't know what DM will come up with next. I must say, he knows how to surprise.. Also, there's a lot of potential for further training for Monica for the Farm owners (Marcus's Path). I am sure DM will not do as you write. In the short/medium term, Monica might be going to work for Miss White, (just because of likely blackmail) but it's 100% not going to be the end all game. As long as people are willing to pay for their favourite show for new content with their favourite heroine, the show will go on. I can only see a sudden end to the game if it (the game) gets bored with the developer himself. But I hope that won't happen.

Not because they were not confindent with DMs work (quite the opposite), but every story has to end at some point.
And look at the title of epispode 3: Crossroads, that means that sooner or later you have to choose the final path.
What I wrote in the spoilers above is just one possible ending, but I think all paths have one thing in common: Monica will loose her company permantly, one way or the other.
By the way, that DM is working on another projekt already is for me a clear sign, that we are in the last third of the development of Fashion Business.

dude i agree with him. I know maybe what I said is wrong, but... we have a mission in Shiny Hole where at the end it's mentioned that monica might be the new owner of Shiny Hole and monica thinks about it for a while. and let's say that monica sees that there's no way to get her company back, so one option for her is to marry someone rich (I know she temporarily got the house back) or get into the porn business (even though she's asexual, she does it for the money anyway) (impossible for her to want to go to the farm) unless there's a big twist at some point in the game
