I am glad to hear you are not shooting for billions of dollars straight out of the gate but only for a couple of millions. Modesty is a virtue.
...and far, far easier when you lack any sense of reason and common sense whatsoever as this Dev consistently demonstrates, most notably perhaps in the abysmal attempt to present a story of supposed intelligence and sophistication, throughout this appallingly flimsy tale.
One (of many) of the most glaring examples of this, for me, would be that the lead character, who is supposed to be a mature, wordly-wise mother of two, possessing a brilliantly, razor-edged criminological mind, is completely and utterly oblivious to the appeal and impact her voluptuousness has, and indeed would inevitably have, on any and every red-blooded male and female of any impressionable age, with whom she comes into contact.
The weird thing is that the Narrator goes out if his/her way throughout the piece, at least for as far as I have followed it, to emphasise this peculiarity as though it is perfectly normal and therefore understandable. What unsettles me is that it comes across, in the persistent tone and posture of the writing, that this is actually the case for this Developer. Also, the faux sophistication adopted by the narrative style and, in particular, the way in which the Narrator actually describes matters to the audience is, to me, truly most peculiar. It goes beyond merely, perhaps, translation of a non-English speaker. It's just really weird to experience.
The whole story's weird. I mean, to even consider using the poolside groping session between the lead character and her son's friend in the way the Developer does is cringeworthy beyond even laughability. Even in the form of a most desperate attempt at contrived titillation, it would, to any reasoned individual possessing an ounce of common sense, be completely unthinkable not only to come up with such a scene, but to then portray it. I mean, for a woman supposed to be infused with worldliness, maturity and intelligence to demonstrate such profound, blind naivete is beyond merely illogical. Suspension of belief is one thing...this is just totally mind-boggling.
The whole story is appallingly conceived and written and will surely only appeal, as can be witnessed in the Reviews section, to the most desperate of the mindless fappers lurking around these parts.
PS/ It's somewhat gratifying, I suppose, to see from "kakashiuchiha" and "Ueywuwudu" 's Facepalms that, until reading my comment, they simply had not realised that this is the reality of it. I am pleased therefore, as always, to have been able to share the enlightenment.
