Imagine still defending this dev when it has been 3 years in the making and has no results for that time.

I was concerned when I saw how many options they were adding, because lots and lots of options only ever leads to two outcomes:
1. They don't matter in any significant way, or
2. Development slows to a crawl as the exponential nature of compounded choices makes it impossible to factor everything in.
I'm glad they decided to redo things and distill the choices down to the meaningful ones, personally. Looking forward to further updates.

What the fuck has just happened? Downloaded the 1.8 version - the avatars look like shit, options are massively reduced for no apparent reason, and the game doesn't go beyond GCSEs? This is crazy, I knew development was slow but I'm still impressed it's managed to actually go backwards, might be an F95 first...
After years of working on the character creation intro without getting to the main game, the dev decided to nuke everything and start over to work on the intro some more. Also there was too much sex, so now there's no sex scenes in the adult game that exists solely for its sex scenes.
You can read the "Make Female Agent Great Again" document on his patreon, where he lays it all out. Basically he decided the way forward is to "streamline" everything - which in his mind means junking most of the existing content, starting again, writing a linear plot then have everybody else write the variants for him. He says the avatar thing is because its much more "streamlined" to work with 3 breast sizes rather than 5, but it sounds like some artist he met just convinced him to use their stuff instead. The document also explains that in his view he needs to be producing less content so the rest of the team have an opportunity to pitch in, raising the obvious questions...

I really liked the idea, his (fake?) passion, and the first steps into developing the game. That's why I kept believing and supporting.
Until I couldn't have more of it.
What is doing now initially seemed like a good idea (to solve the stupidly slow content production), but if you look closely behind his (unjustified) excitement now he's basically taking one month to add one single scene of one section of the prelude of the game.
And when I say "the game" I mean the crippled version of it, where you have one single country of origin and 1\10 of the background variables you had before. But it's only taking one month for a single crippled scene of a remake that took him years(!?) to make, hurrah.
(and rest assured that in a while he'll add the basic variables that are now missing and take another 2 months refreshing the '1 month scenes' of the prelude he's making now)
Never again.

I am just glad for the dice roll animation. that is the single element no porn game has had before. I didn't know what I was missing. /s

I like the new start, wipe out was have been dane before, and concentrate on this new beginning, and as of me, it's really cool. I am eagerly waiting for future content. But I have minor concerns, inferring from entries on Patreon website, again, as before, he starts to focus on petty technical details that are not very important for the plot development.
For me this game could be as simple as possible from technical point of view
and instead of, it should have good written fucking interesting and emotionally addictive
content, full of sex driven stories, with three simple option for me as a player - I agree for something, I hesitate, and last, I say no and kick some ass.
Once again, this game needs good story writer (writers), not monthly deliberating on small technical detail.
In one sentence - more story content and less waste of time on implementing another minor variable to the game.
For me this game could be as simple as possible from technical point of view

Yeah, the lack of progress on the story is what has driven me away. I check back in now and then and it's always two steps backwards one forwards. Crush easily could have written more of the story by now even if his fiddly systems aren't set in stone. I can see wanting to have it all set up before you branch into the more open world portion of the game, but maybe just deliver a more linear game for now to appease people.

I think at this point crushstation should release a road map of what Bangkok will look like so that his patreons can actually see some progress. At the moment it looks like he is just redoing everything because he doesnt have any idea of what he is going to do next.
