Hmm maybe he spends more time editing than I do. As soon as a scene's "good enough" I always feel pressure to move onto the next thing instead of taking time to get the writing just how I want it. :(

I'll try to check out Cloud 10, thanks for the pointer

Please note: I'm rarely active on this thread, I mostly came in to update the banner. If you have feedback you'd like me to see it's best to message me on Discord, where I'm: Crushstation#8544

Trying to apply real life logic in a porn/erotic/sex game or any game or movie or other fantasy is an exercise in futility. The whole point of media like this to indulge your fantasy.
And I totally agree. It's only a problem when some people confuse fantasy with real life and try to convince others that that is "realistic", which is a case often caused by too much porn.

It's just like the whole "this is the year of Linux on the desktop!". Don't worry guys, 2021 is definitely the year of Bangkok in FemaleAgent.

If it is not that year, let's be honest, we have to praise Crushstation for having enough creativity and know-how to keep people attached.

We have a developer who openly admits their fuckups and tells people what's causing them and why and regularly checks in to let people know how they're fixing them. Is Female Agent at the state you want it to be? No, probably not. It's not at the state they want it either.

At least they're open about it. How about you start appreciating that fact instead of shitting on them all the time? There are many worse cases of feature creep, slow development, etc etc out there where the dev stays silent.

Yep, typical. Spend god knows how much time and effort to create up to 34 "facial expressions" and virtually little or no time on writing scenes and implementing them in the game until "crunch time" due to deadlines, only to turn right around and go "opps, looks like things are going to be delayed.... oddly just enough to make sure this month's patreon's fees go through".

Seriously, what ticks me off the most is the simple fact that this is a mostly "text based game'. As such, the FIRST AND ONLY consideration should be getting the TEXT part done. I don't give a rat's ass about facial expressions of the same 'static avatar'. For f*** sake! Get the text written, connect them together and make sure they work in a manner that allows you to get TO that text. Only once THAT part is done do you "add" the facial expressions.

You should be working on 34 PAGES of text for 1 image change, not 34 minor (and most like insignificant overall) image differences with every 1 "new" page of text.

F*** me! If I wouldn't be fired for doing this sort of content again, I would dust off my Coleman notes and f***ing restart this whole f***ing thing from scratch
For what it's worth (not that I'm defending this trainwreck of a project), the facial expressions (the art in general) are all done by someone else. The writing is handled by Crushstation

the new narrative scenes feel like important character development, and the new sex scenes feel hot without (..) undermining the heroine.
Anyone knows what he's talking about? Already regretful of the only decently hot scene of the "game", the nerds with the sub\dom vibe? Only politically correct sex and interactions from now on?
Could be a new low for this "game", wouldn't be surprised.

Sounds like someone is covering their rear to account for either the generic sex scenes or the simplistic game mechanics that will make ALL future interactions 100% passed without fear of a failed "skill check" turning the partner more dominate in bed, or simply making both sub/dom MC playthoughs the same no matter the choices provided.

For example, MC agrees to doggy position. Upon rolling for "skill check" you will automatically pass, instead of a failed "skill check" encouraging NPC to attempt anal without asking or warning. So that it will always be vaginal as sub/dom, or MC directly demands anal. Where a creative writer would use the skill check to determine if the MC is "enticing" NPC. If yes, the vaginal sex continues until anal is teased about by a dom NPC to judge reaction, or dom NPC goes for anal and leaves a "sub MC" grudgingly accept the situation while a "dom MC" would protest, possibly ending the encounter completely.

But the use of the phrase "undermining the heroine" is concerning when the heroine of the story is basically being put into a positions of whoring herself out. That story set-up pretty much undermines the heroine completely because it places her in a situation where she is NOT the main "driving force" in any sexual encounter. She is EXPECTED to accepting of almost any sexual desire instantly or with a simple offer of a few dollars extra. Not to mention that the setting also places the heroine in a direct conflict of "control" over clients 100% of the time, events that unfold during encounters 100% and the ability to "fake it" or "enjoy it" as a Sub/Dom in sexual situations. It isn't like a "sub MC" is going to react to demands from "Dom NPC" for anal by going "no, never" if the same "Dom NPC" can go "Well, how about for $25 dollars more." What is the heroine supposed to do then? Say "no" and risk her entire mission by blowing her cover by being known as an uncooperative whore? Doesn't that completely counter the entire concept of the game, making any effort to maintain "internal logic" fall apart and the entire project a waste of time AS a creator, let alone someone trying to play the game?

On his discord, he mentioned that one of his anonymous contributors flagged some concerns about how a student/teacher affair was being written, and it felt creepy rather than sexy. But then Crush finished drafting it and everyone decided it was actually hot. I think he might be referring to that.

Just a question- how many people here would still be interested in the game and follow it if absolutely none of the art was there. Like, okay, let's say there's a nice interface, there's still a screen with stats and potentially a side bar always updating describing what the agent currently looks like- but no art, no clothing, no faces, nothing.

Would you still want to play the game?

No art with the same content? Would probably stop following.
No art with more content? Heck yea I'd still follow. It's not my first rodeo into text only games, and sometimes your imagination wildin gives you the best fap material

It would depend on how much content it had... and how long it take for new updates.

With current content and development speed? Nah, I most certainly wouldn't bother.
With pre-MFAGA content and regular, monthly updates? Sure, it wouldn't be the first text only game I follow.

Besides, it's not like art in it's current form bring that much to the game. Once the "new and improved" version of the game came out with 1.7, I didn't even noticed that the Avatar was also changed until somone mentioned it here because I never really bothered with it or paid attention to it.

I remember playing this game a year or two ago and it still feels like the same game, outside of all the customisation options of the character that don't appear to do much. I think the setting and idea was great, but then you're doing wet tshirt parties when I want to be doing secret agent stuff that might involve fucking your way into a gang or something instead of seducing randoms. It seems like it just has updates that involve new facial expressions that you don't even notice while playing.

You know what, when he said he was developing a new sex engine I though it was something similar to the engine on the Newlife game but actually it was just a scene that was written that has lots of unused stats going on behind it. I like the game but now I know that it will be developed at slowest pace that is possible. My expectations are really low and I recommend that to everyone that is following development of this game.
