As much as I love the idea of this game and I do think Crush is a great albeit a bit slow of a writer, I honestly find myself preferring the early slice of life stuff, the scene he wrote of the protagonist and her 3 friends is one of the best scenes i've read from a game like this and it makes me want a game centred around things like that.
i fully agree, one of my favorite scenes in the game.

Dev should add more freedom. Either a chance to skip scenes with Connor people like him, or give us a chance to refuse them with out a game over. The choices in the game are very forced, and if the mc is bi, then where the hell are the f/f choices and events?
Initially I thought you will be able to go through scenes using your abilities, like, your character build is 'Athletic/Sports' and you use that during your first HCC interview with Connor by starting doing gymnastic figures or ballet or something, which makes Connor stunned/perplexed/fascinated and boom!.. you don't have to fornicate*. If your character is full 'Charisma' build you then speech-check your way out of sex. If you're a 'Nerd' build you then remember a scene from a movie or game, imitate main character and escape sex that way. Et cetera, et cetera.
// *Skip scenes or go through them in a fashion of your character build

Unfortunately, choo choo, railroad. Technically could be added later though.

I'm not sure what exact point of "introduce multiple ways for character to avoid sex in porn game with MC corruption focus" would even be, other than waste of time for everyone involved.
Then there is no point in arguing about linear experience. :sneaky:
Really, was just trying to think of a way to unrailroad what we have so far. After all, if it's a customizable story, we might want to be able to customize and decide at what point our character goes braking bad.
I, for instance, was not a huge fan of first interview with Connor, but Boss scene made sense to me. That little detail would make my playthrough unique from someone else's playthrough, which would be quite nice to me as a player.
For the love of god, make that /s BOLD and size 26. :ROFLMAO:

I've given up on assuming this will ever be open world or branching out, and I think just accepting that this is a visual novel that we get some minor (mainly cosmetic) choices over but experience the story that's been laid out is a better and less frustratung way to consume it.

Hey guys! Last week I completed the storyboard for the next episode. Weighing in at 248 slides, it’s the longest storyboard so far.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the longest episode to play, but it is the most thoroughly planned. Hopefully this means that production will be swift and easy, with few obstacles.
“What this country needs is a short, victorious war.” –Vyacheslav von Plehve
What’s included
A scene that was supposed to be sexy but minor blew up out of all planned proportions when it came to storyboarding. It’s evolved into a complex sex scene, an important milestone for the heroine’s journey to bargirl status, and a powerful emotional beat for her.
Episode 1.19 will include the buildup to this scene, the scene itself and the club shift that happens around it, and the fallout afterwards.

But White Russian is being pushed back to the next episode
I was planning to include both this shift and the side quest White Russian in this episode. But I definitely feel like this shift is strong enough to stand on its own; we can go to production, there’s no need to make you guys wait for me to add on a whole extra quest to this episode.

Next steps
With the storyboard done, I’m getting started on production for Episode 1.19. This is the exciting part, where we convert all the planning into actual working game screens! I love this part because you can actually see everything coming together.
I’ll get as much done as I can and report on progress next week. Have an awesome Monday! ❤

Another fan of that scene in here and felt the same way, that was the best scene for me in the game. I also liked the tribe ritual scene and was hoping for much more like she's spending several days in there... I too hope that a talented but hard-worker dev creates a game with similar good ideas.

I just don't find it likely that for the game to pump out good content, and it does in my view, enough where I am a Patreon sub, it has to take nearly this long

There had to be stuff that Crush can farm out to supporters or collaborators

That's, sadly, pure naivety. Supporters and collaborators aren't any better than the developers themselves at producing content. Especially content of good or even decent quality. Most will burn out very fast and then take months to actually admit/notify you they've lost interest and haven't done shit. If they don't just disappear altogether.

I don't mean things like doing the writing, I mean stuff like scraping images from Google, or doing basic playtesting, or even working on the UI if they have that kind of skill.

But yeah in terms of quality I wouldn't count on them, definitely.

Good morning guys! I’m currently building the storyboard in the game engine. This is the part where the visions and ideas become a working part of the game, so it’s really exciting to see it coming together.
There are 248 storyboard slides, and I wanted to get a significant chunk of that done last week. I worked Mon-Sat and was able to recreate 117 slides.
The storyboard is written to a rough first draft standard, so when I’m doing this I make improvements where I can. (Little changes to dialogue and characterisation can make a big difference here.) I’ve been able to incorporate some of the contributor feedback on the storyboard, and also deviate from the plan in one or two places to make it hotter.
I took yesterday off to recharge, and now I’m right back to it! I’m now working on the most challenging & hottest part of the storyboard. I’ll do my best, and report progress next week.

Thought.. Since Connor seems to be a huge part ofnthe story. Then why not let us choose whether he should be male or female ?
