The story progression is just bad. Initially she had to undergo training missions in a Glasgow night club, including a possible casting couch scene. Crush decided to tone it down a bit and made her a bartender. Only for then to have the very first scene being a rather questionable rapey creampie job interview. Now if that is "toning down", I am interested to see the actual bargirl content.

Then again, as Crush lined out, we won't see that, because he intends to tackle the school/college stuff, once we have reached that point.

I do not have a problem with Connor per se. I have no illusions about what will happen, as long the corruption process is at least a little bit consistent and realistic. Realism is my main problem, not the rest. I play her as reluctant and in slow corruption and that she slowly gets used to more and more things.

But that is MY Kate.
There are different ways to play so your Kate might shag anything that moves and have no problem with it.

But as I remember my Kate doesn't really want to have sex with Connor. He then ignores a condom and finishs inside against her will. As it was written, that was rape. And NO woman likes rapes. Why would she allow that? From 0 to 100 in 3 seconds? And why would she then allow him to do it again and again. So I would very mush say anything after that rape is unrealistic behavior.

Please note that I only speak for me. If anyone just like sex scenes regardless of how we got there then I have no problem with that. It it just that I DO care how we got there.

But unless I rewrite the story I get it that it will contain large amount of inconsistencies and bad writing. Just a pity, it could have been so great.

Anyway, I get this is a porn game but that doesn't make it immune to criticism. You're just trying to gatekeep the other person, a poorly disguished attempt at that by trying to justify a ridiculous porn plot as if there was any degree of realism to it.

No, of course not intelligence agencies do not expect their agents to go about letting themselves get raped by their targets. Sure, sexpionage is a thing but it's multi-layered and very thoroughly prepared with every facet of the seduction taken into account. It's also consensual because the seducer is the agent.

The CIA or MI6 do not expect or require their agents, male or female, to get bent over and fucked by a criminal drug dealer in a sham interview. Her job isn't even to seduce but to gather information. The only actual sexpionage she did is the defence contractor or whoever that guy was in the hotel and only barely because it was pretty poorly planned.

I'm not sure an offline version for 1.11(.1) was ever released.
I could be wrong, but I was going through the discord and he was never happy with 1.11 or the .1 after (part of the reason he skipped the rest of the life path and moved to the current version).

No. Like several other "choices" in this update, the affirming option isn't an actual option. There's no check for arousal level; the passage just includes a grayed out "option" to make it look like you might have had a choice. The butt fingering is like this too, where the "Stop it" option is just gray text.

No she's not a honeypot from the beginning, because if she was then it wouldn't have the scene of the discussion with the Director about it & the one after about the government supplied meds for STD's & STI's. Besides the fact that there wouldn't be the choice of becoming a bargirl vs being a barmaid.

Also ye must have some pretty low standards because only 1 male that she encountered in the bar/club wasn't ugly.

I didn't say she would abort the mission by saying no to Connor at the casting. She has a whole team of people to her disposal. They broke in to the club to find info and they have hacked the cameras etc. They would be rather amateurish if she goes to the casting, says no to the rape, leaves and the entire Agency just says: "Damn. What a pity. We then cannot think of ANY possibility to continue. Let's just drop everything and go back to our tea.".

They would EXPECT her not to be raped, that it might not work out. And have a contingency. A Plan B. And Plan C. Otherwise they are idiots.

So a couple of alternatives for Crush:
Alternative A: He could have setup the casting so she could pass in a more realistic way.
Alternative B: That Connor for example might require other things instead (drugs, money (debt) or whatever) or that he actually might like someone saying no to him and might play a longer game for fun. I think he finds her attractive enough.
Alternative C: Make it so that the casting always is a bit undressed but she stops at at realistic point, failing the casting but then utilizing the agency's resources to find another way.
Alternative D: There never was a casting. They scout Connor out first, find weaknesses/material/blackmail and uses it (as a real agency would do). He could however require that she "models" for him, a casting if you will, so that she is not entirely useless. If he is to back her, he must know she at least will not embarrass him.

There are SO many ways he could have made those episodes SO much better. She is not a trained agent using any possible sexpionage to get info. Or have I totally misread her backstory?

Id listen to this person.. This would be an change of the story that I could stand behind..

Then Crush should allow us to skip content we have no interest in seeing.. Simply make a note stating, "This next scene our protagonist will be raped by fat ugly bastards and connor, if you wish to skip it simply click the skip button".. And every one is happy Yaaay

And yes, she was a honeypot from the beginning and all the selections she has made, if you did not finish the game they already put you or lead you to be a honepot, only that I just notice it.

Although, using STDS has to do with the fact of being Honeypot, I make me ask me if you understand the concept of being a honeypot

It's a fake choice, the code doesn't actually check how high your arousal is so there is no way to pass the check.

I've been playing around with SpicyChat in the last few days. I am absolutely convinced that, with the help of AI, Crush could not only produce material 1000% faster but also 1000% better. I found the writing in the recent updates to be poor.
