Yesterday I played in the latest version of "Being a DIK" and the diffesence with "Female agent" so massive in content, general approach, branching (routes) amount that I'm shocked.
From my point of view text games has a worse visual than standard visual novels, but they have different strengths like more routes, more complicated mechanics and they are much easy to develop, because you haven't render each location specifically - just use your imagination and text.
What I wanted to say, that I had a hope that in some time in the future Female agent transforms into the game that we deserve with a lot of branches, minigames, interesting mechanics and a lot more content, but now I understand that this hope is a massive delussion.
Being a DIK was started 2 years later, Our red strings 3 years later and they both have more content, real branching, unique mechanics and they are visual novels, not a text quest.
I don't believe anymore in this game. It's just another Yandere dev story

To be honest updates for BAD take about a month or so longer than the updates for FA.

Alternatively, having it on the computer allows to provide experience that isn't quite like watching a movie or reading a book, given there's a level of interactivity. That's why kinetic novels are an actual thing and not something universally shunned "cuz we already have movies and books".
To be fair, MC trying to figure out whether being in relationship with a girl, as opposed to just fucking around, is something for him, is one of major themes for BaDIK. So, with this context it does make sense for it to have a number of exclusive paths the player can pursue, if they so choose -- missing "fucking everyone" becomes very much the point.

Hi all! I haven't played AF for about two years, I've read the last couple of pages in this topic, and I would like to clarify with you, is there still no open world in the game? I remember that the author promised to implement it, did he abandon these plans?

Nope, Crush has not managed to turn this into an open world game in two years. If you've not played since 2021, there's probably not that much new: a handful of more scenes of the MC working as a topless waitress and one where she goes partying with her work mates.
Give it another five years.
If you check in 2028, then maybe Crush will have reintegrated the childhood character-creator bit again and progressed the story far enough for the heroine to become a bar girl. It still won't be finished though
