You specifically don't seem to be down in the hole, at least not yet. There is an option to think that this is just a game and if there's an update you will play it, whenever or never if it dies.
Vast majority of everyone here are on the hook, addicted, and jonesing for their next fix. The wait turns a lot of people nasty: lashing out; imagining they could do better (some take action, to their credit); accusing the developer of lies and scams, ultimately introducing hateful poison you carry in your souls IRL.
But you're all still here. Their next update will never satisfy you. You like the dark.
It's admirable that the game hasn't been abandoned, given the total slowness of each update... at this rate, I believe that, probably in the final judgment, in the Apocalypse, we will have an update in the haircut, lipstick color, or who knows , new clothes...
Wrong. I'm here for the same reason I look at a pileup on the highway. It's hard to look away and it's interesting to speculate on the cause of the crash.
I didn't play the last beta and I have no intention of playing any eventual update to this game until the Bangkok storyline advances, which will, quite possibly, never happen.
The reality is that Crush is a fairly average writer with absolutely abysmal output. His coding skills are limited and as an HTML RPG-lite, FA doesn't even register. It's a non-entity in terms of art assets. BUT FA really excels as a case study of the pitfalls of the patreon-fueled development system - which incentivizes drawing out the process with limited content updates for as long as patrons are wiling to subsidize their struggling "genius". In the real world, this game would have been completed or pulled years ago.
It's fine if you want to keep playing the role of the defender of the faith, but your pathetic continued attempts to categorize & stereotype participants in this thread have long grown tiresome. You should give it a rest.

Probably not for me. TBH the last time I played the game I was so thoroughly disgusted I wished I could retroactively revoke my past support. Now I just come here to see people laugh at this joke of a "dev".
I don't think that's true for the simple reason that Crush's updates are too short and infrequent to be able to get up a good head of steam.
I know I'm old, touch-starved, and my prostate is the size of a melon but it does take more to get me off than one scene a year and a couple of posts about hair-styles and shoes. Give me some credit.

Anyone who has access to the discord know what is going on over there? is there any communication from crush?
My guess would be that he has been working hard, full time - of course and has been creating a massive outline of what the next step in the prolonging process could look like and in the meantime the lovely lady Victoria has been busy doing beauty marks, pimples and other things nobody cares about.
