I think it likelier that the mod simply recognized that the thread had gone wayyyyy off topic (and I am as guilty of that as anyone) and trimmed it of the inappropriate posts. Theorizing that there was some conspiracy between the mod and the dev to censor the thread is unwarranted (though, perhaps, self-satisfying). Never attribute to conspiracy that which can be adequately explained by "a person doing their job."
I'm pretty sure Crush has exactly zero power over what's said or done here. Which is fine, to be clear; he's already got a discord where he can exercise whatever level of control he sees fit.
whats the deal with the 2 different downloads, 1.12 and 1.6.3, are they 2 seperte games or does one lead onto another?
I suppose they are here for you to appreciate the progress of development.
1.6.3 is the last release of the origional version
1.12 is the last release of the remake
1.13 (due in a few weeks) will be a re-start of 1.12
been a while since i looked this game up, good to see it still going around in circles.

Edit: I guess there was a second one. After the old one (the one a couple of months ago) I would have agreed with mymain. The kind of post that were deleted back then wasn't funny. This second one seems more reasonable though, at least according to the "surviving" posts. On the other hand, I have no idea what kind of posts were deleted so I don't really know what I'm talking about.

I was mostly joking when I said the "conspiracy" by the way. The posts were off topic, by any and all definitions. It's just that it was funny, considering that this time specifically it was about "creating some competition".

It is what tends to happen on this thread more often than not, and I can see SOME justification for deleting comments now and then. The only issue that I have with the deletion process is that sometimes, you will see a post that is dead-on-target about the game and suggest improvements, also get erased due to being surrounded by 'milking comments'.
So, when you see a number of "removed posts", you will be safer to put your bet on complaints about Crush's "work effort vs output" and "delay vs content" type comments.
It happens. The occasional "on target" post will get removed due to the number of "off-topic posts" before and after it. I mean, if you put a post about 1/2 way through a page of nothing but 'off-topic posts', it is far easier to get rid of the entire page instead of saving that 'one comment' that might be on topic, but doesn't match 'on topic posts' by other users for 2-3 pages later on.
I'm not usually a big fan of text based games without media, but this one works. I remember finding this a while back and it never clicked but this time it did.
I do wish choices made a bigger impact though.
Like nationality, clothes worn, etc. I do like the addition of a dice roll mechanic though. Do you have other missions planned? Even though there's a lot of content, for some reason it feels a bit short. I suppose a lot of that has to do with the remake being done though.
