Pretty much. Some people have the naive idea that making a game is super easy: "just slap some pictures together with some written lines and it is ready".snip

try this oneDid the Patch get reset or something in this version...? I used to have Stacy as "sister", continued from week 2, and now she's calling me "friend" at the end. Wtf?
Well, in a way your right.....for a really shitty gamePretty much. Some people have the naive idea that making a game is super easy: "just slap some pictures together with some written lines and it is ready".
my biggest problem with this is, that there was this challenge. it was indicated that there was a way to win, but no indication that it was actually impossible. so you start searching for the right path to win and lose hours of your lifetime for nothing. and then you get a forced "punishment" for something you didnt actually fail!Haven't had a good facepalming in what feels like hours, so I'll bite
Winning/losing a challenge in a game like this can only work in a couple of ways
a) if you fail you can retry, i. e. play parts of the game again
b) similarily you can get an additional challenge if you fail to get back on the "winning" path
c) failing or winning doesn't have much consequences except for one or two scenes and a slight change in some dialogue
d) failing leads to a game over (or, less likely, winning leads to an immediate "you win" happy ending)
But when, as here, major plot elements hinge on whether you win or lose, it has to be pre decided. If you had a real option, it would basically turn into two games with very different stories, meaning twice the story writing, twice the rendering, twice the amount of time needed for the same amount of content for the average player, also twice the disk space used.
That doesn't mean that a dev needs to include a "competition" like that, especially one that seems doable (though that adds to the suspense), it doesn't mean you have to be happy with the outcome, but facepalm everybody as much as you like, if you "cared to think" about how plot driven games work you would have known from the beginning that winning isn't really a probable outcome. Even big studios can't really do it differently, the Mass Effect example mentioned above is pretty spot on (especially because that scene also was annoying af), you might want to read up on it since probably you are too young to remember.
Yes, the game was rigged from the start, but by the Fetish Locator app already I'd say. FL is obviously evil and won't give you a fighting chance here (that you get so close notwithstanding).my biggest problem with this is, that there was this challenge. it was indicated that there was a way to win, but no indication that it was actually impossible. so you start searching for the right path to win and lose hours of your lifetime for nothing. and then you get a forced "punishment" for something you didnt actually fail!
The term is 'landlady's youngest tenant' and I will ask you to respect it.into your childhood friend (roommate? landlady junior?)
Define "controversial".I fully support the author's vision and so on, but given that before that almost all "controversial" content was optional, I quite understand "Interminable whining". In my opinion, it is quite justified.
I kind of felt like I should have given you a "facepalm" just so you wouldn't be disappointed, but I hate giving people a facepalm reaction unless they "earn" it like for asking about updates right after the Dev has made a post about updatesHaven't had a good facepalming in what feels like hours, so I'll bite

finally have trans on male contentfetish locator?... hmm...
No incest
No impregnation
no inbreeding
no pregnant sex
no bestiality
no BDSM
no S&M
No handle bar hair pulling while making motorcycle sounds while pounding her as hard as you can (i cannot think of a tag for this).
No male on futa
No futanari lovingly pounding your ass and not being a total domineering bitch about it.
no damn futanari
does not seem to have anything for those that love being cucked, you know who you are (if you add this make it optional and not forced like a certain dev i hate who claims it is optional but forces it)
no ect ect...
man i think this is some fine false advertising here. good luck dude.
2020 NOTE: When i wrote this well over a year ago when the game launched, there was nothing in it. The list was made as a joke, and as a not so subtle list of suggestions of what the dev can put into the game. Most of which, i think they did put into the game, so good job dev!
I mean it's not like the game didn't tell you it was rigged:my biggest problem with this is, that there was this challenge. it was indicated that there was a way to win, but no indication that it was actually impossible. so you start searching for the right path to win and lose hours of your lifetime for nothing. and then you get a forced "punishment" for something you didnt actually fail!
Well, is there a definition which is sharp and always applies? Probably not. It is a sliding scale, and subjective at that as you pointed out. However, there's a difference between "this game includes cutting off the nipples of the girls you had sex with" and "this game features a character named Stacy and I have had really bad IRL experiences with a Stacy, not to forget Stacy's mom". Both these facts may deter you from playing or they may not, but I'd argue that there would be a common understanding which is more controversial.Define "controversial".
I don't like vanilla romance plots in these games, as I think devs can't write it properly and is more fitting for some cheap vampire novel for soccer moms than a porn game. Should I whine when a game forces a default romantic partner (and too many do), or we can only consider controversial what a certain subset of players doesn't like? Is it a majority vote kind of thing and where can we vote? And if it is, do you think a game developing its critical path by committee is a good game?
Personally, I find more worrying the possibility of that movie reference being some meta commentary on dev's thoughts than any "forced fetish". Because any dev thin-skinned enough to feel "forced" to adjust their vision, is bound to fuck it all up at some point.
Sooooo, when is Week 3 coming out? And will it be normal or extended and what is the difference anyway?I kind of felt like I should have given you a "facepalm" just so you wouldn't be disappointed, but I hate giving people a facepalm reaction unless they "earn" it like for asking about updates right after the Dev has made a post about updates![]()

Yeah, a common expression. However for some reason you chose the occurence where the acting was worse than in your average amateur porn movie
