This game have the possibility to skyrocket both in pledges and patrons, I really hope those lucky enough to develop it are aware of it and acting accordingly. If they wait some more it will be like starting from sratch again, if you look at the support trend.

They do, right now the main problem is the lead programmer has very little experience, and Magma himself seems pretty distant. If you support them on patreon they constantly ask for suggestions for scenes to be added in (artwork wise) because theyre trying to have only artwork they own/isnt random stock images.
theirs an update on the patreon, anyone going to post the MEGA link? i would myself, but my sorry ass is broke.

I just started it myself but I can already tell you some things about the new fighting system may be bugged. For example in the tutorial fight instead of loosing hp you gain hp each round. So unless I'm reading something wrong here, you cannot finish it ever (you can skip it, luckily).

So it looks like currently the majority of fights are bugged like that and the content cuts before the third fight even begins (not to mention finding the Rose club). Almost none of the images are referenced correctly, if they even are in this release. It might be a good release to squish bugs but nothing more.

Yep you can win this fight, str++ is a must. (don't try to kick his balls ! 100% chances of losing if you do)

there should be an update this month. Check patreon page and someone said there was an 8.0 bughunt out

I think the 8.0 bughunt version was released in May 2018.

I haven't played this game in so long I wasn't sure if it still existed. It's probably been a couple years... I think it was on 0.5 the first time and 0.7 the last time I played - not much had happened between those versions. From what I played today, not much has happened since then either. Good concept, but not much done after that.
I tried two versions: 0.9.2 Beta (Jan 2019) and 0.8 bugfix 7 (May 2018)
0.9.2 has a reasonable amount of new content (including a new fight mechanic) but seems to be missing a lot of existing content, and most paths seem to end in bugs. It also requires copying the image folders (avatar, dressup, etc) from a previous version if you want image content.
0.8 is virtually identical to the game I played a couple years ago. That's not bad - the game was worth remembering - but makes me feel kinda like it has as much content as it ever is going to have.
I remember reading something directly from the autor with the following lines.
"I am a quitter and give up easily, however I'll see how interested $$$ people are in my game, and then see where it leads."
Not in those exactly words, but the meaning was this. Now supposely he found a dream job, and don't have enough free time to develop the game.
