There was some talk about people on the forbidden mod picking up development of the Nox/Deepmurk vector pack.
Original dev just wanted to move on with his life and focus on irl stuff. It's still being developed by pregmod devs for free but their version of the game is banned on this site. Which is a shame since they did major improvements to the game over the years and are still working on it.

Rule 7 can be interpreted in a way that prohibits pregmod. The original, un-modded Free Cities does not include the content in question, but is no longer actively developed, so this thread remains here in an Abandoned state and you have to find pregmod yourself.
Is this mod safe to use?
I think the reason is not from safety perspective, the mod added several extremely disturbingly "un-vanilla" choices for the players to do (but they're completely optional and can be turned off in the settings)
The Gitgud source is legit, and pregmod really fixes a lot of issues the main game had as well as adding optional love it or leave it elements to the game that alter the experience beyond vanilla. Its a depraved game that is just more depraved thanks to pregmod to the point it breaks a rules here, its not gonna blow up your pc or anything.
Pregmod is safe, from a technical perspective (but make sure you get it from gitgud, of course). It's open-source, reviewed regularly, and the dev team has been doing this for years. They're about as trustworthy as a group of completely anonymous deviants can be.
I'm not sure what you mean (start over without starting over)? There is a New Game Plus function which lets you start a new arcology with your existing PC and optionally take a few slaves with you.
It's being banned because of the content within.
It contains no malware.
If you're talking about kiddie porn, it's only violating rules here if you actually mention the kids' age.
On the left sidebar you'll find an "FCE" link...that takes you to the Encyclopedia. Go to the Table of Contents (link is at the top of every page), choose "Playing Free Cities", then "First Game Guide."
How do you gauge the age with just visuals? How do you spot a difference between fictional 16/17 and 18 year old? How do you prove that a 3d render girl who might look 10 yo is really 10 yo? How do you prove shes a human in the first place? Ridicilous...
Lets not be silly, sometimes things can be blatantly obvious. There's a way around everything , and its not a federal offense to fap to 3d renders, so knock yourself out.. but expecting the prude majority to just wink and say nothing to see here folks while you do it in polite society or forums where its discouraged is hilarious.
