I still don't know what it is. I mean, she's clearly amazingly attractive and the writing has a great deal to do with how attractive she is (Haley in Haley's Story also benefits from this; I could pick her apart in similarly sexist and obnoxious ways, yet she just does it for me). But Alice ticks almost none of my DAZ boxes. She's not a redhead. She's not slender yet overdeveloped. Her skin is too perfect. Her hair doesn't compel me. I could go on and on and on dissecting her in pieces, but as a whole she remains the DAZ character to whom I'm attracted more than any other I've ever seen.
That said: her eyes. God, her eyes.

Actually, having just thumbed through a fair bit of the gallery I finally know what it is. Alice is incredibly sensual and at her most compelling when she's not having sex. I mean, sometimes it's just before or just after. But there's an enormous amount of care and attention put into the renders that set up scenes or build the attraction, rather than just those that pay off the stat-building. The range of her we're-not-currently-having-sex emotions is kinda breathtaking, and none of the other bangable NPCs match it.
Since this is exactly one of the things I love most about Life With Mary, I should have recognized it earlier. Forgive me, but I was probably mesmerized by Alice's eyes.

I'm not quite understanding why the neked couple was on the bed with the desk clerk?! He used his pass key to violate their privacy? He watched them bang on the balcony? I felt my blood pressure immediately drop and my primary head ducking for cover.

uhh...question: is there any blaring benefit in choosing a non "pervy/horny" response over the "thinking with my dick all the time" reply in making choices? I have a one track mind and until I finish the game only then will I take the alternate path............
