What do the patches do? They're sorta vague on content. Except the character removal one, but like, why remove a character?

IRRC it was a troll patch cause of hate a character got. ( un deserved imo) But the other patch just enables Dark content / incest when that becomes a thing. Tho it does enable roleplay incest

edit: Also, because I know people will yell at me for putting out something short, or splitting my focus from finishing the Chapter 1 remake — I did this over my vacation in December, and originally released it in January to my high tier patrons. I’m just making it available now, because it’s going to take me a bit to get everything organized after the Chapter 1 remake is finished. So, I figured I’d give everyone something to play on the meantime.

How is Chapter 1 remake coding going? Are you planning to do more code changes after the Ch.1 re-release?

It’s going! Putting out a new play test/teaser build today that has the completed love/friend routes. This weekend I’m going to try to get the next build with the corruption routes done. Image count for today’s build is 600+, and the final remade chapter should come in around 1,000 images.

I’m going to put out Chapter 1 once it’s finished, and then take a couple weeks to go through the following chapters in blocks, testing code and cleaning up little story details.

NeonGhosts Is that energy system for the end of ashe date gonna come soon, or are we still far off from it, or has that been kind of removed as a possible implementation.

I am fine either way, or whatever you decide, just don't want to start over, with this rework. Then that gets implanted and have to start over again, if that messes up code, and so on.

So just curious where that stands? Also thanks for all the Britani photo treats along with updates to the game you have posted here over the past month or so. Can't wait for her photoshoot big content later this year. Finally keep up the great work, this is a top tier VN.

Hey! I've kinda explained this, but just to reiterate:
  • I'll release Chapter 1 this month. Trying to get the rest out ASAP, but as always stuff just takes longer than I think it will. I'll only be releasing Chapter 1, by itself. Everyone will need to start a new game with this release, because old saves will no longer be compatible due to how I'm changing certain variables, etc.
  • Over the rest of April I'll be cleaning up the following Chapters 2-10 in batches of 3-4, depending on the size of the chapters. This will mean doing stuff like fixing variables, and cleaning up art that's bothered me for a long time. Most of this should be straightforward, as many of the chapters don't need a ton of work. Some of the content with Pepper and Ashe are the exceptions. Once all the edits are done, Chapter 1-10 will represent Season 1.
  • In June-July I'll put out Chapter 11. Hopefully June, since I've already got a decent jump on it. This will be the start of Season 2.
During this clean-up phase, I'll be taking a hard look at the Ashe date, as that one's honestly my biggest mess, in terms of a bunch of stupid, conflicting variables. No joke -- when I was writing Ashe's Chapter 11 content, it was such a colossal pain in the ass trying to cleanly write for her various statuses, that I basically gave up until I could fix her date chapter. It's that bad. But, there's also two scenes in there that I want to add, that I didn't have time to put in previously. Nothing huge, maybe 50 renders all told.

So, to speak to the energy system -- I'm going to look and see. I still want to do it, and I still think it makes sense to do it. But, I need to honestly assess how much work it'll be, because I really want to get back to Chapter 11, instead of tinkering with things more than I need to.
