because she promised him she would do it if he went in the drug den. and she put him in a very dangerous situation just to pull him in her problems and get him involved with Lucien. she feels she owes him, and she doesn't have anything else to trade. she is cut off from her family's money, and she can't use her influence. and the issue is also actually who she is, she has the reputation of a junkie and a slut, so MC's word will carry much more weight. that's also why she wanted to pull him in.
That's why I didn't sleep with her in the motel didn't want to treat her as a slab of meat when she is more than that. Even tho it wasn't the dark option to do so I felt like playing a dark path Guy doing that to her. Because he is taking advantage of her when what she needs is help and someone that will be there to love her back and not just see her as a sex object. I don't care if it was something that she promised guy feels shitty to do.

This is where I am too. Some of the reactions are pretty interesting (from shock to suspicion to disappointment) when they realize that you're willing to help them - a lot in some cases - and you don't want anything in return.
i'm not sure who I like the most between Nicki , Risa and Ashe I keep flip flopping why come the rework im making 3 solo paths for them first haha. Tho if I had to pick one Nicki probably be my favorite just barley
Nicki makes the most sense to me as a Li partially because she's a little older and much more mature than most of the others, and partially because they were close before MC was wealthy - which means I at least think her feelings are genuine. Most of the others MC would never have gotten to know without having a bunch of money. Ashe is ok, I like the ... blanking on her name ... the concierge with the daughter, but that one would be a slow, slow burn, and Viola but still Nicki makes the most sense as a Li. And if I'm with Nicki, I want her to feel special - not like part of a harem, or FWB who I also happen to pay.
Yeah I think Nicki makes the most sense as a "canon" LI personally to me. But there are others that are good as well. Yeah most of the characters wouldn't of met the MC without his money but that is the story. However I don't think any of the LI see the MC's money as something they care about. Well other than Isabella. So far everyone feels genuine to me. Yeah Risa used the MC for his money but that's cause she needed help and she didn't know how to ask or get him to believe her without using him in that one instance but that's her being dumb and assuming facts without asking. Other than that one instance I do not think any of them care about his money, the money was just the reason they happened to meet for one reason or another.
Yep. But like I said, Nicki makes the most sense and I'm just as happy to help the others without wanting anything. I mean, it's a different kind of fantasy but I'd love to be insanely wealthy and just spend my days helping people without asking for anything. If I could though, I'd buy an apartment building and just invite all of them to live there, rent free. That by itself would solve most of their problems. I also wish we could have just offered the baddies cash for Cherry - just buy her freedom. Still investigate them and try to shut them down but get Cherry out of there. Given the kind of people they are, I think they'd respond positively to a pile of cash.
The patch if it says "true" only enables the rape/blackmail (and incest once it actually happens in game, it's not in game yet) scenes in game during normal gameplay. You will know it's working as you there is a rape scene very early on.
Fun Fact: If you first do the dark option and then change your mind and try to help Cherry, you do actually try that!

I’d probably just play the beta. I’m planning to get the public version up today, but it really doesn’t add too much besides a few pieces of art where Guy and Nicki are talking about comics, and it makes a change in Chapter 9 where you can refuse to watch Ginger’s video. Maybe some typo fixes, too.
