Never really had an issue with Nikki asking for money it was understandable given the circumstances but i guess some people wanted the option to kick her to the curb.

as for gabby's past and BF talk? dont care to much if she has a sexual history although Virgins are nice every now and again i dont care for the most part. it was more annoying for it to be described in detail HOWEVER on the bad route or the info you get from going on that route (as i said before) really makes me want to make him suffer. curious to see how that plays out.

as part of a completely unreasonable and probably only one who holds this opinion...i would not care if it took longer for updates just to make double renders for Nikki's scenes. one with and without tattoos. considering one of the games in my signatures rarely gets updated i'm clearly on the willing to wait side of the spectrum:LOL:. but again fully aware i'm hoping for too much. at the moment i'm just waiting for next update.(y)

I liked Nicki but honestly she shows up to ask for money at the behest of her BF and dressed not necessarily slutty but to provoke at the very least...at that point she becomes a whore in my eyes and is treated as such. Even the dumbest of women should realize being pimped at that point.

i guess the reason it doesnt bug me is although she is being pimped it doesnt change the fact she lost all her money as well.

dont get me wrong i'd feel better if she said she was gonna leave her BF afterwards.

Am I the only one who realizes that we don't know what Nikki's story is and we are just making a bunch of suppositions? We don't know where she has been, what she was doing, if any of it was voluntary, or even if her boyfriend was involved. She could have been a victim of human trafficking and he could be in a shallow grave somewhere. Or maybe she just got a new look and she turned up tearfully because her grandmother died. Or maybe she has been in the witness protection program. Or kidnapped by aliens. Or fell victim to a makeover reality show. Perhaps reserving judgment until the next update may be warranted in this case.

We can wonder what happened to her based on what we know so far about the characters.
She's been probably mixed in another of her bf stunts to get money, porn most probably.
It doesn't matter much. She's now at your door to do what you think is better.

She was kidnapped by intergalactic Pedobears, to be used as a prop in a children's dress up game. It just so happens that her new look is the most popular amongst preteen girls in this side of the Milky Way.

Thanks for playing! There's not really a main girl - I plan to, when the story eventually wraps up, have endgame content for every girl. Nicki does play prominently as the story goes on (as do all the girls, really), though you're not required to romance her.

I will say this - with Chapter Three nearly done being written (still chasing down some coding bugs and polishing dialogue) I decided to go back through Chapter One and make notes on what to change, in the likely event I remaster it. And actually, I kind of see why people might have gripes with Nicki. Some of this was due to having a limited number of renders to work with. Some of it was me getting used to the format of writing for VN. Some of it's because the story was originally going to be a one-and-done, but I saw a way to continue it.

So, a revamped Chapter One will likely do a lot to make Nicki more sympathetic.

I already sympathize with Nikki. If I didn't like women who had shitty taste in men how would I justify them dating me?

The Nicki problem:
- MC has had a crush on her for years but she dates someone else (basic hentai NTR setup)
- She comes to the MC after her shithead boyfriend fucks up and asks for money
- She gets the money and ghosts the MC for 3 months
- She comes back looking like a cheap whore
there is nothing redeemable about her.

I have no problem with her being in a relationship when we're introduced to her, everything else is just a nut punch.
