Agree. Rape is a violent crime, and any justification for it is just there as a rationalization to make the perpetrator feel better about it. And unlike other violent crime, even self-defense doesn't work as a possible justification. That doesn't mean you can't do it (in a video game) but the idea that something they did justifies your actions is just something you made up in your head.

No one is saying that fiction = reality. That doesn't mean that rape is justified in fiction though - if you do it the character is doing a bad (unjustified) thing in the fictional story. Characters in fiction sometimes do bad things.

Obviously, rape is never okay, justified or whatever you want to call it. But lets say you have a character who's mentally unstable or dealing with some kind of psychosis, they might think what they're doing makes sense, even though it doesn't.

It looks like it will take a while to get to Ch11. I thought that adding remake Ch1 with the rest of the story would take a week or two at the most, but it seems like it will take longer.
There can be justifications in the story you're reading, this doesn't mean that rape is a good thing mind you. We're talking about the logic of the characters, their motivations and so on, and yes, psychopaths have motivations too.

Dev Update! 5/19/25
Hey friends, hope you're all doing well this week!
First, just in case anyone missed it: I posted a new text short story featuring Madison, which has two pieces of art accompanying it. The first part of said story can be found (for free!) in the sticky'd post on the landing page. I'm not sure how long this one will be, honestly. I'm kinda having fun with it, so we'll see how much longer I want to keep it going.
As far as the game, work continues here in the rendering mines, and I'm making steady progress. I've added 250ish renders over the last two weeks, and I'm nearing the end of the work I need to do for the stuff that goes between the new Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. There's some additional background for our hard-luck hero, a new ero scene, and some little appearances from Carolina and the Chen family.
As always, things end up taking me longer than I'd like, but I'm working as quickly as I can to get this stuff finished, so I can move onto rendering Chapter 11. I promise, I'm just as eager to get back to the present as everyone else is. I'm planning to hit the ground running on June 1st, so that's my self-imposed deadline, to stop fiddling with other stuff.
Finally, just for fun I'm adding a little image of Isabella. Because when I buy a new lingerie asset, I can't not try it out right away!

See, for me the whole concept of degradation with things like "whore" or "slut" doesn't work, because the only thing it does is reveal that the person who believes shaming someone for their sexual practices is making any sort of a point... is but a sexist moron whose opinions are then, by extension, worthless. The problem is technically it'd be just countered with "this was all consensual financial transaction and/or roleplay and now they're trying to get more money out of me because they know i'm rich" and then turned into a he said/she said. The fact Brent has sent Nicki to Guy with this very goal in mind and that Nicki willingly went along with it doesn't help to sell it as a rape, either -- it'd make both of them participants in selling sex which is just as illegal as buying it in most of the US. And when one side has 50 million bucks and unscrupulous lawyer while the other has nothing, the odds of such thing ending with anything but a settlement is pretty slim.
That excuse doesn't really work... As you say it's he said she said but that picture says different.
