just started playin this a few days ago and i just got the option to move in with someone and i wanted to know if theres any negative effects of doin this? like will Moxie/Trixie get sad or upset if i do it?

Hahahaha... This mod is hilarious. never mind that it misses some variables like sometimes when there is a *´s at the end of the name it don't identify it correctly so it's still Moxie´s bed and so on. but at the start you go out and eat "Ice Pinkie Pie" with Trixie hahahaha... I'm not blaming it on you i figured out why it dose that, same with the names it misses i just find it hilarious.

Actually how did you make the renaming? Is it a script that hunt for certen words and replaces them with another word or did you open up each dialog and do a *search and replace*. if its the late i would like it if you cude tell me what programs i wold need to correct what's is missing. I got time and don't mind reading throe the dialogs manually to correct it all to the "true names".

Nvm I figured it out. Working on fixing missed names now

Maybe that's why it sounds dirty, lol. It's like the perfect stage name for a stripper, which is kind of fitting since she's part succubus.
Shyccubus would probably sound marginally better for the game.

Succushy sound better to me when you say it out loud. Shyccubus is just awkward to say... at least to me

on a similar note: would ppl prefer me changing Butters bunny's name to Angel or keep it as Devil? Personally given the dialog around her introducing her Devil fits better but i'd like to get opinions.

Sure, here you go:

Edit: Make sure you don't parse the couple of files that have image/etc definitions, that'll fuck stuff up unless you change the names of those files as well

Ah... I been going thru the files you posted before line for line in Ren'Py scanning for things to change. I haven't figured how to get the original files our of the *.rpa (I sent a message to TwistedScareltt60 asking about it along with some mistakes i found wail scanning the code earlier today). At current release i only have Farm, Finalrout, Forest and Library left too search,

thou i been thinking about going back and change Arcadia to Equestria i mean sins i'm changeing everything else Lightning Bolt to Wonderbolt and so on.

I even managed to add a small feature to the Spa ponies. I'm quite proud of my self as this is my first time with Ren'Py

Here is a mod for all you who wants the MLP:FiM names for the characters now on.
This is my first time with Ren'Py so some mistake might exist but i'm pretty satisfied with the result.
Unless a game breaking bug is found I have no plans to update this mod further until next version of Friendship with Benefits becomes available for me.

Credits to Hasbro for making My Little Pony.
Credits to TwistedScarlett60 for making Friendship with Benefits.
Credits to ckkm3 for starting this mod as well as teaching me something i need to know for future updates.

To install simply extract files into $installpath\game directory.

For safety i don't recommend using this mod mid-playthrough.

It feels really weird how committed the game is to not being committed. Like the several characters going on extended spiels on how pregnancy is impossible and even when it's "possible" it isn't really you doing anything real involved with it

It's strange when you encounter someone so fundamentally at odds with what you like when you like the rest of the stuff just fine

my main issue with the commitment stuff is how hard the game tries to push it in a world that absolutely would absolutely be noncommittal, if anything monogamy would just be a taboo fetish in a world like this, like you got almost every girl goin on and on about how their want a committed relationship but in the same breath be like 'oh and by the way go ahead and fuck everyone, k?' like this is a porn game about fuckin everyone lets not turn it into a dating sim please or at least can you make up your mind what game this is lol

Sometimes, less is more really and in this case, they could have simply not mentioned it. Let the player answer it how they will or only bring it up when its strictly necessary.

How the "pregnancy" content was handled shows that there's a vast gulf between those that like that sorta content and the author; this isn't like their fault or anything but it's very hard to write things you fundamentally don't get. The fact they compared it to the earlier egg/slime stuff shows how they look at it and the way they write it, that ain't wrong but it's definitely the heterodox view on the matter and arguably a separate fetish.
