That last part must be a new update that was only on the patreon because I did ask them about it when they used the YL2 forums and I believe it was odes that said something along the lines of "that's not something anyone's really asking for so we dont have any plans for that at this time" It was a way back at this point so I forgot what I named that question post cant find it right this moment. Dogson works on new content while interactions are worked on in the meantime.
There needs to be characters before you can add them into an interaction. As soon as the character editor was done, work on interactions continued.
How you choose to feel about something is up to you. Updates and builds are consistent, transparent and more frequent than most other projects though.
The team has repeatedly said that VR will be implemented after interactions.

↓I'm hoping the reason their updates have been small lately, with just the occasional post of a new body type, is because they're taking a while to make the animation update.
And not because they're just doing the shit porn patreons do a lot where they hook enough whales and start releasing tiny updates to milk them as long as possible.
they already work on it, as i know they are only 2, one for the graphics (Dogson) and one dev (Odes)
so it's natural to have one still working on adding model and one working on the physics engine. cuz yes they create a new engine, unity apparently is not good enough.
