RenPY helps you compile an visual novel, Furry VN helps you make 3D models and poses for visual novel. Compairing them is like comparing RenPY and Paint.

How much time they developed this shit already? Two years? Three years? And yet they have less functionality than their previous "game".

And I don't even ask about such stupid and nouse things like adding second character to scene for just simple posing. They don't even try to improve creation interface for no brain people like me.

And I even have no any rights to criticize their enginius work flow, because they can put another anthro blanket and take few more months of free money. Because it seems enough for people, who patronize them.

And mostly this my stupid outrage connected with simple fact that I extremely badly want to buy product they promised to make, but all I can see they will not do any progress in any sensible time.

Forget NFTs, if you want to make serious money, you make a furry porn game. Pay somebody with a little bit of knowledge to make a promising looking demo, and you will get literally thousands of dollars monthly. You can then release nothing for 3 months at a time and still get support for it. RACK 2 is my favorite example. 11k per month on Patreon and they went quite literally a full 9 months without posting anything, but instead of losing patrons, gained more and more. No updates about progress, no new builds, not even a "I've been busy, sorry guys." post. Genuinely nothing for 9 months straight, only to say "Progress has been slow, sorry."

If you have some friends with basic coding knowledge, give em' a nudge. Free money, and a lot of it.

Anyone remember where this VN aspect came from? I remember the game was called Yiffalicious 2 without a hint of the visual novel in the game, until their bank got involved. I think that was when they decided to (in a very shallow manned) rebrand the project to keep the bank happy. Was there any talk from Odes or Dogson on how much emphasis they'll actually put on the VN construction aspect of the software?

i didn't talk to them about that but i confirm it was a bank issue.
i can add :
-the VN aspect is the last things they will add.
-On public talk they seems okay with it, but it's secondary since they didn't plan to do a VN game

cant adjust sliders without whole game acting like shit and eats tons of RAM and Vmemory (and my Pc isnt bad)

Have you ever made a game before? Especially one where you have to code everything from scratch, including a animation system (one that dynamically plays procedural animations, no less) while also balancing performance, graphics, and the ability to create custom, good-looking characters? They're working hard on this, it's not finished, and the Patreon is for early access. You can play Yiffalicious if you want an idea of what the finished game will be like.

Yes it's taking a long time. But think, these developers likely have full-time jobs and families. They can't dedicate hundreds of hours to development. These things, they take time.

Also this dev created a pipeline for importing custom 3d clothing and props that can be weight painted inside the app. Also you can create shapekeys for the basemesh for more control customisation of the pre-made bodytypes. You don't have that kind of moddability in indie games made by 2 people.

it's not on going they changed the name and found agreement .
it was just an add for justification for the previous post.


now the main problem is a unity bug (memory leak as far as i know and understand) who made impossible to work correctly on it. the problem is on unity side odes can't do a thing about it but ask for mass reporting the bug. some bugs like that can take months to be corrected by the unity team.

The normal maps are mainly just noise to simulate skin pores. I had two previous prop packs posted in this thread. my awnser is no, dogson is making new model monthly , and i'm pretty sure (not 100% as i said i dunno) odes still trying to work considering their past works.
