You're sort of right. What I'm talking about is more of their role in the dynamic. It's all hammer and nail stuff without any real variation of how the futa and MC get together. A little seduction goes a long way, and does a sort of feminine flirtiness that is absent in quite a bit of futa stuff.

I got the sarcasm, but it was also right unironically.A lot of typical "masculine" behavior gets swapped onto futas to make them fufil a sort of dominant one dimensional role (similar to an Amazon). Even if the story isn't super compelling, its nice if the characters have some variance.

Nuance. Being feminine means more than just having honkadonkas and masculinity means more than just having a doodle. I simply feel futa leans super hard into the masculine tropes for futa characters.

I think Inner Growth is a decent example. The MC futa acts just like a typical male mc imo. They basically wrote a male character and made them futa just because. It's the reason I don't like that game.

I dislike girl dicks. To me all dicks are male. That way you don't have to bunch me up with whatever label you have on your head that disavows people who like "girldick" from having additional tastes.

Well, it is true that some people would consider more assertive or dominant traits as "masculine", while viewing more docile or submissive behavior as "feminine". I do not adhere to such views, however; those ideas are essentially social constructs created by patriarchal society and have very little basis in biology, IMHO. Personally, I have always been attracted to assertive/dominant women (whether cis females, trans women or futanari), while docile/submissive women never held any sexual appeal to me.

However, decades of evolutionary biology and psychology has established there's most definitely a biological basis to the one sex of the species (mostly the males, rarely the females) being more dominant and assertive in the group. Found not only in humans but a number of social animals, seldom deviating from this standard.

This may be true for many species of mammals (although there are quite a few exceptions, including our close relatives – the bonobos). But if we look at the animal kingdom beyond mammalian species, there is by no means any specific pattern; we shall observe that dominance of either sex or egalitarian relations are more or less equally common.

My point still stands with bonobos though, they're a matriarchal society (one sex is still more 'dominant' than the other), hyenas are also matriarchal (the females literally have a pseudo penis, and are bigger and stronger, but they give birth out of them, ouch!). Other than that, humans, chimps, lions, wolves etc. all strongly patriarchal. With the males possessing the markers of dominance in nature (physical strength and size).

Lions and wolves are pretty much irrelevant for this discussion (besides, both are actually much less "patriarchal" than generally perceived). I would argue that humans are more closely related to bonobos than to common chimps (regarding the latter, while they might indeed be considered "patriarchal", describing them as "strongly patriarchal" would probably be a bit of an overstatement), but citing all the facts to support my theory would probably go way beyond the topic of this thread. I could also cite some archeological, anthropological and ethnographic evidence proving that humans are not inherently patriarchal and that matriarchal and egalitarian societies have existed in the past (and still exist in some isolated populations), but that would probably be, again, TDLR and way off-topic.

Yeah there have been isolated pockets of matriarchies that have existed throughout human history. If we try to visualize it on like a timeline of humanity, they would appear like occassional blips that appear and quickly disappear, surrounded by the ever present, all conquering, patriarchy .

Well, there were certainly objective reasons why patriarchal societies have become more successful at some point in human history: since men are, in general, physically stronger than women, they tend to be naturally better at crude warfare and metalworking, which became the most lucrative occupations from the late Bronze Age well into the 20th century. But, this no longer stands true, and recent studies show that women are generally better than men in virtually all professions where raw physical strength is not a crucial factor. So, again, there is a pretty objective reason why the tables should be turning now.

Well, I can easily subscribe to this. I'm a college teacher, and from my own experience, girls, statistically speaking, have better grades than boys. All my best students in any given year were female.
