Agree. Renee is not a young woman with mommy issues like Rye or a older woman who regrets what she did in some past war like Wallis.
It stands to reason the variations of the redemption route used on Wallis and Rye would look a bit out of place with Renee, considering everything they already showed of her in previous routes.
The chink in her armor is the same as Rye's though, the only difference is she's been coping way harder for far longer. You could play it like
>brings on MC as a temporary attendant slave pet thing
>Renée is extremely sadistic and is prone to random acts of cruelty, as normal
>She notices the PC is abnormally loyal to her despite the abuse
>She puts him through a series of Demetria like trials to prove yet again that her philosophy is correct
>Have her go too far, and the plot goes off the rails as these routes tend to
>probably end up defeating a business associate of hers and foil their maniacal scheme or something
>Final heel turn, Renée goes full mask off in one last attempt to drive MC off
>it doesn't work
>she cracks
Is one way it could go anyway. I mean I get people want a straight up Stockholm syndrome arc (which it could still mostly be), but the seeds of Renee's redemption arc were already planted in her daughter's. The writing doesn't have to be exclaimed literature tier, it's a porn game.
