Out of all the options from that poll, Renee is the only thing that makes sense to me. Both the male route as well as the claudia/demetria addendum seem to me like a waste of resources and should each be like... a scene or two? Just be done with those on the side.

Not going to get my hopes high. She will win, June-July 2024 we will have part one, with a lot of hinting of how evil and brutal she will be. Then part two will come early 2025 and we will find out she has a heart of gold, and it will be a romantic fanfic with a tiny bit of light dome stuf

I hope not. As i said time and again, the type of redemption arc done to Rye and Wallis would make a poorly route for Renee i think.
From what people said it seems the update is quite good. I have it on Steam but didn't tried yet.

The update was fine.
I'm guessing a lot of the time was backend stuff, or animation work. I guess the phone framework and new replay system took a bit.
Don't expect anything major, though, it's more akin to the Goth/Blonde mini-route than a full blown one.

The update is worth playing imo, the hypno route is very fun.
Regarding your (very reasonable) fears about Renee, this is from the patreon:
I have been through this so many times, I will believe it when I see it, them never having flat out stated that there will be no redemption, does make me hopeful though...

Well I'm not gonna pretend like I'm not disappointed, but on the bright side at least we get more Renée. Hopefully it's written well and it doesn't turn out to be pure suffering porn, otherwise they could have just written an extended bad end for her during Rye's route and called it a day.

Meh. They hate the idea of doing it, it is why the pulled back so many times. If they feel pressured enough they will do a half assed job, just to not kill the golden egg goose.
Renee is probably the third character I would have the highest hopes for. My first was Wallis, which was ruined in part two, the second was Sally which was a no starter (she was a Saturday morning cartoon character), and now it is Renee.
At some point they came to the conclusion they were making high art, and not fetish porn.
Well, I'll stop being overly negative, because I know some of you guys still like the game, I still follow it mostly out of habit.

On an unrelated note: If anyone here did not check Star Periphery yet, I highly recommend it. It is everything Futadom World could have being, and the dev is one of the nicest people you will ever find.
