So far, my game has been on there for free, so my donations have been really minimal. Haven't relied on it whatsoever, so I'm not affected. Though I was hoping to ramp that up at some point.I just hope you're not to affected by the whole itch.io debacle going on right now.
What happened there?I just hope you're not to affected by the whole itch.io debacle going on right now.
Itch.io is banning some adult developer and refusing to process payment for others. It is a crack down, a bit like what happened with Gamejolt a year ago. And for a single dev trustable revenue streams are hard to come by as Paypal will blatantly steel Adult game devs, so will master card and swipe I think. So It is not a good time for indy adult game devs. At least it still host a majority of the Adult games that where already there but with out a way to process payment, it would be just an other window like the one F95 curently provides devs. What happened there?
I made this post in the compression thread, but I'll make it here since it directs to the sources on Itch and here for the threads. What happened there?
SeemsYou must be registered to see the linksI wouldn't be surprised if some devs that don't have many resources go belly up, or you don't see any more updates.
I've used Itch a lot, I do mean that I've bought a lot of content from there, it's usually cheap, and very easy to deal with.
Itch.io Changes Policy for Adult Games
I might one day, when I have dozens of puzzles done, compile them into a separate app. But at that point it would be better suited to do so in an engine other than renpy, which would take time to recreate. The puzzles are outstanding on their own and really should be put into a game of its own. I'm stumped
on the Daydreaming #7 puzzle and would love to see the solution to that. I know I am not alone needing
puzzle help. Perhaps the SKIP button should be renamed to GIVE UP where the correct solution to the puzzle is shown.
Click and then go on with the game. Of course the whole puzzle stuff could be put into a game of its own and
expanded on that.
The code would indeed accept multiple answers if they satisfy all the rules. That said, I can confirm that each puzzle really does have only a single unique solution that satisfies the rules, so you'd never see that actually occur.A question about the puzzles:
Is there always a unique solution?
Can I rely on the fact that there has to be a unique solution (so if a choice would lead to multiple valid results without breaking the rules, is that choice actually invalid)?
Thanks.
Love the game so far! The story, the puzzles, the graphics, the characters (that I'd met so far).
I have one listed in my first message in this thread (the 3rd message).are there any signatures in the thread? and if yes why they are not linked in op?
Hey new signatures never hurt anyone. That's where you go to ask someone to make a sig banner for you.
He was asking if they already exist for this game.
Hmm....Hey new signatures never hurt anyone.
I'd welcome it! The one I made is a bit dated at this point (Claire had some adjustments after I made the gif). I might make a new one after the next update is done, but if anyone else wants to take a stab...Hey new signatures never hurt anyone.
