But seriously - what we're talking about here is a colloquial use/definition of the word futanari. And you know how that works, right? It means that there is no hard, exact dictionary definition. Just one or more popular definitions that aren't always precise, and that may change over time.
That's also where those arguments about whether or not futas have balls come from. There is no official definition, there are different artists who do different things, and some people just autistically imprint on a very specific variety - and then they insist that this is the real and universal definition.
And really, what the Japanese hentai fans think of with the word 'futanari' isn't one-on-one the same as what the Western weebs think of with this word. There's not even any point in arguing about this; just look at the futa-related tags on pixiv. 'Futanari' (ふたなり) is freely used in all kinds of ways, it's used interchangeably with 'dickgirl' (which doesn't even have a corresponding Japanese tag), and there's even exotic stuff like 'man futanari' (男ふたなり).
Seriously, look up some of the 男ふたなり stuff. The porn nerds here would go apeshit if you posted that here and tagged it as futanari.
