Oh shit look out, he's using wikipedia as a source for a loosely translated Japanese term that cannot be literally translated to English!Sigh, yes it does. People have just adopted it incorrectly as a general term because of a lack of attention to detail, or maybe they just don't care.
Just like the word "Hentai" literally means pervert in japanese but else where its anime porn. People misuse words all the time. and sometimes it sticks. It is no less annoying to see however. That's why " irregardless " is now a fucking word since February of this year. We even have words that are the opposite of themselves.(contronyms) It's no surprise when people get confused because this stuff keeps happening.
Now, ofc these futanari depictions are a perfect fantasy/exaggerations of what actually exists in real life but that is nothing new when it comes to porn.
The sky is green guys, please believe me because I said so.

The problem is that if I want to look for Futanari (japanese term for hermaphrodite) in this site, I may run into tranny and shemales which I don't like.We are so fortunate that we have such esteemed linguists debating the correct use of futa on this website, and major props to our f95 mods who work closely with both Cambridge and Oxford to make sure our tags are as accurate and correct as possible
I can't, because in real life there isn't a living flat imageShow me one guy in real life who looks anything like the protagonist.
Having the same problem. :/Does anyone else have an issue with the UI scaling being too large?
glad i read this before download itI love a dickgirl but the overview seems to imply that you play as a girl and that this is a yuri game so pass
imo, futa unless stated otherwisekinda funny and sad just how many people here don't understand the concept of a transwomen, needing to call her a "trap" or "guy with manboobs" in order to comprehend it. Futa isn't a great term either but it's so well-known at this point it's unavoidable.
I don't think personal ignorance is a justified excuse to claim "futanari isn't clearly defined" The concept of futanari for the longest time has been a feminine looking hermaphrodite, meaning both male and female sex organs. I've only seen the definition of such be this muddied online when trans people started inserting themselves everywhere. I'm honestly not sure if you people who so adamantly and indignantly use the clearly defined term of "futanari" on everything that isn't, are just being ignorant "tourists" or intentionally malicious by way of subverting language, definitions, and culture. The term has literally existed for centuries due to it's japanese culture origins and the etymology behind it has remained fairly consistent even in modern day japanese usage. Here is some ecchi-fication by an OG who is actually cultured and knows their shit, Zone. So you can educate yourself if you want to.I'd tell you that 'shit' and 'gold nugget' are things that are very clearly defined that everyone can agree is either 'shit' or a 'gold nugget'. The same can not be said about futanari, as it solely exists in an artistic medium that has been interpreted in different ways by various differing artists with their own definition of what a futanari really is.
I do get the meaning purist stance but I'm afraid the battle is not one that can be wonI don't think personal ignorance is a justified excuse to claim "futanari isn't clearly defined" The concept of futanari for the longest time has been a feminine looking hermaphrodite, meaning both male and female sex organs. I've never thought of it as a "battle" since the only times I typically run into this situation is when westerners are mislabeling works with incorrect tags, be it out of ignorance or otherwise. I don't often see works made by japanese artist where the creator tags it "futanari" when it's actually a trap or shemale since they have words for both of those concepts already as well. I'm only really bothered when i'm looking for futa and turns out I was misled, making me sift through way more works than necessary. It's not like each of these separate concepts don't already have a term and definition for them.I do get the meaning purist stance but I'm afraid the battle is not one that can be won
used to have a similar stance before giving up, ending with as stated by myself above, any non-trans girl with dick can be called a futa (and not having a pussy doesn't make a character trans by itself, fantasy logic)
gonna save you some nerves if you don't stress over the matter so much honestly
Bumping this message for help :<<Having the same problem. :/
