Actually, I was having a bit of a bad day for unrelated reasons yesterday......
Honestly, I was hoping in a little more interest in the game and, yeah, feeling blue about other issues.

Still, I'm glad at least some people like the game (and a big thanks to two people who joined my patreon last night after my post), and realistically I'm new to this so I need to be patient so, yes, I will continue working on the game as scheduled....finished one of the new scenes last night but lots more to do....

I do love the story and the characters myself and I already put lots of work into it, and planned many interesting scenes, so, moments of weakness aside, I will keep working on it and hopefully more players will come to appreciate it over time.

No, the game is still in development. Working on the first update as we speak (completed about half)...and the scene I made last night is, imo, really hot (features new characters, and elf lovers will really enjoy it, I think)

so, on this topic I had a look at what I had planned for each update (got a basic timeline for most of the main story and the side quests) and I think it was a little too ambitious in terms of timing.
Basically, I was, naively, thinking I could do huge updates.... I don't think that's going to work though, because it's doable but it would mean only adding to the game every three/four months or reducing the quality of the work. It's also true, though, that probably most people don't want to re-download a game just to add one or two scenes every two weeks...... so I'll go for a more balanced approach
Basically I will update the game every two months (or one month and a half at times) and make sure each update has at least 4-5 new H scenes (+non-H scenes of course).
I will also have updates that focus on advancing the story lines (like the next one)
and then updates that just add more H scenes (or background stories scenes) to the existing characters, or generally upgrade the game (the second update, 0.3, will be one of those and in it I also plan to activate the costumes section of the bazaar, with outfits available for each character so far in the harem)

Speaking of which, gotta go back to work on the game....but please keep in mind that the amount of work involved in my project is huge... Any support, from a couple of bucks a month to just positive comments on the boards, are always welcome.

Quick Update:

Found and fixed the bug that brought the story back to an earlier scene after a repeatable BJ with Bliss (long story short, it was just a tiny typo that sent the story to an earlier version instead of the conclusion of the repeatable BJ).

Will try to figure out the Fern bug next.

after a few traing session with fern it went back to the time i got her but it is day 10

Ok guys, so I was investigating this bug.... but in a quick test run I just did that doesn't seem to be the case..... the code looks fine but yeah, I'm not really getting that.

Basically, it's supposed to work like this..... you can train Fern twice and/or have a love story with her twice..... as you do that repeatable scenes are added in the "Play with her" section.
It is true, though, that, after you complete the love story part 2, the "Get to know her" option will disappear (until I add new sections)...
maybe that's what he meant?

Anyways that bug was easily fixed. The update will be fine....

Regarding the other one, don't know what to say. Has anybody else noticed that issue?

I haven't noticed the issue, but i guess he might mean the Bliss BJ Bug, since this throws (well not anymore,since you fixed it) you back to the evening party and then the day you get fern.

You have made a complicated story and its a tale that requires an immense amount of content. I like it and it is very intriguing. The models a basically good but the renders and animations need to be improved a lot I am afraid as they are missing one very important attribute and that is sex. They just not sexy enough. The BDSM is very tame and needs spicing up.

Regarding Fern, the only instance where you have to share her is to advance the storyline with Ilyana and Sapphire....
Tbh I didn't think having her perform with two other girls would be an issue.... I mean, it's not like you have to give her to another guy; she's just playing with beautiful girls.... IRL I wouldn't share a girl with a guy but I would be more than happy to see her play with other girls (I actually did once, with a girl who's now an ex unfortunately, and it was a lot of fun).
Aside from that there will be no obligation to share Fern.... (I will add some swingers scene where you play with her and Moll, but Jarn also plays with Fern, but that one will be optional and won't affect any of the stories)

As for the Dark Elf, we'll see. The only definite instance of sharing her would be at the Solstice event.... there will be other opportunities to do so, but those will be optional and won't affect the storylines.

Anyways, hope you'll check the updates but if not fair enough.....but overall I feel like having the option of sharing the girls with others can add variety (and in most instances it will be entirely optional).

Yes, I plan to eventually add some OPTIONAL femdom scenes.... maybe have some of the stronger women ask the mc how he'd like to be used etc.... It will never be a major theme but yeah, eventually I hope to add more variety and more secondary fetishes, including a little bit of femdom (but again, OPTIONAL only, not a main part of the stories)

Honestly, if my focus was just 'realism' I'd rather watch a regular porn. I think the beauty of H games is the ability to do things we can't do in real life (like having a harem, or banging elves, demons, succubi etc).
In this game, for example, I find the group sex events, and the situations, sexy... (and I think the Goths storyline will lead to some extremely sexy scenarios in the near future)..
And the models (whom you seem to like too) are, imo, extremely sexy.... I could sell my soul to the devil for a romp in the sack with Bliss, or Sugar, or Sapphire (or well, with just about any character really)

Anyways, this is a bit of an experiment. This game is beyond most indie projects, in this field, in terms of scope (creating a whole world, variety of characters, and complex storylines) and ambition.

If people appreciate its potential and support it I will be able to improve the visuals a lot...If not, well, I will do my best but I have limitations. It will also show that the type of games people really want is not what I want and if that's the case, well, too bad but that's the way it is.....

Worth noting that it has more scenes, and more characters/situations than plenty of finished games....
and that while some games add one nice picture and a few lines of nonsense every few months, I'm working on building various characters, adding story lines, figuring out interactions between the storylines etc (and every update will have several scenes)

The point is...it's a trade off. The art is not the best (and the animations are really basic), but that allows me to put more work into creating an actual fantasy world, with various characters and situations.
I would say story quality vs images quality..... (in a perfect world I'd like to have both, but that's where crowdfunding comes in).


One last thing: yes....the BDSM could use some spicing up... but the game has just begun. Don't worry.... I think there will be plenty of more extreme scenes in the future, I'd just like to have a bit of a build up......... if it's ever completed the end result is expected to feature a few hundred scenes (it has about 18 after only one update)

Nice game. But I don't like to share. The story with Fern isn't bad and I agree with your points there. But it probably needs and NTR tag, as it's a turn off for lot of people.

You will definitely need one if the dark elf story continues along the perceived path. Forced Group Sharing, idk. Will be interesting to see the story come along though.

As Far as renders, they are not bad, it looks like you are using the default textures and 3d delight instead of Iray. If you have a decent rig, try and grab skin builder 8, which would only work on the genesis 8 of course, and you will notice a huge difference in the quality of the girls. Not that they are bad. Just a little lower quality than some of the games. But that aside, great story and concept

Thanks for the kind words regarding the story and, overall, the art.

Just to give you my view...., I agree the art could be better (anything could always be better).... but improving it is tricky for me. My rig would struggle if I used more G8s... more importantly, though, maybe I'm in the minority but I'm just not a fan of Iray..... all the games I played use either original art or stuff like Honey Select. So, using Iray to me wouldn't be an improvement and it would greatly lengthen render times, therefore drastically reducing the amount of content I can add in every update.
I would love to be able to use original art instead of renders, but I'm not an artist... If I do get more support in the future I"ll be happy to try and involve artists in the project, but right now aside from working on better character design, posing, and creating more frames for the animations I cannot do a lot (I feel like I will slowly improve in those areas though).

Regarding Fern's story.... this is one of those situations where feedback is important because to be honest I never even thought of that scene as 'sharing'.... , never mind NTR.
I only viewed it as another way of enjoying a girl in the harem (and make some cash because of the special production).

When I do the next update I could easily make it optional rather than mandatory...and in fact I will do just that. Like I said I had no idea people wouldn't like it.... the idea that having our girl play with other beautiful women could be unpleasant had, honestly, never even crossed my mind. I guess I'm weird.

I think, overall I'm maybe also not so clear on the concept of NTR. I thought it mainly referred to situations in which our girl is a slut who likes to sleep around, or maybe situations where the mc is captured and forced to watch his girlfriend being fucked by someone else. That's definitely how it's usually depicted in Japanese videos marked NTR.
I really don't see Fern's story as NTR because the MC agrees to it, in fact organizes the whole thing...and technically it could be avoided (yes, as it is it blocks the Goths' storyline but I will change that in the next update so that it's optional and can be avoided easily).

The Dark Elf is a little trickier.... but technically I doubt it can be defined as NTR since you could just refuse to train her (there are many other characters to play with and more will be added).
Still, it sounds like some players are uncomfortable with that..... Fair enough... I will make some changes so that the sharing part will be optional. Next update as well.

I'm happy to make changes based on feedback, so yeah, thanks again for the comments, I will make appropriate changes to avoid any hint of NTR (and I never intended to use NTR...but yeah, I see your point and it's understandable some players don't want to share).
