out of curiosity, HW will you share 0.49 here? Germany still kinda doesnt allow me to get the game on steam when it comes out which is why i am currently not patreoning it as i dont know if i can use keys gained that way. ive recently found out a work around and wrote you about it, but aside from that im still mainly worried that that gets patched or your key straight out couldnt be activated in germany for the same reasons.

I got a question, so I donated $10 awhile back and $10 more when it changed, looking back I see it was in two different tiers ($5 one and $10 one) does that count as $20, or must it be in the same tier? I know it says cumulatively in any tier but I'm not sure that also means cross-tier

Nope, it's just cumulative; checking your patreon account, you've got $20 so you're good! (Also, it shows it as two $10 pledges, unless there's two people backing us on Patreon named TidePodz...)

You should start off in the top-left most room if you pick "new game", it's just introduction room placeholders for the full game.

You can't; you need to kill it. This will be made more obvious in the full version with a cutscene, as well as a larger lifebar in the corner of the screen and other cues on top of that.
Yeah, the level loops; you'll need to turn around and shoot him, etc.
There's also a large number of bugs in this build that our bug-testing team is working on finding for us so that we can fix them for the final game, etc.

How much of the game is actually H? Is this somewhat like Third Crisis? Or is it just something like "Metroid with porn at the end of the stage/ when you get defeated?

Afair every enemy (and traps) can fuck you, there are also H-Scene Events, (both in pixels) and Defeat Scenes (2dcg)
Is this one already a compilation of the others since those were removed?
Not only is it likely more rewarding and fulfilling for the developers as you say, but usually the end product is more fulfilling and rewarding for the player too. The vison of one person or a few people without corporate oversight and meddling, made how it is and made at all because it's something someone actually wanted to make, for purposes other than profit.
Does anyone have a walkthrough of the custom map level? I remember there being a listing of how to get each ending, but can't find it anymore (and searching 'endings' gives too many results from people talking about the 40+ endings of the main game planned)

We're aiming to release between Spring and Summer 2021; we don't have a definitive release date as a result. We've given exact dates too many times, and so we'd like to use a more flexible date now to avoid having to push back a release date announcement due to unforseen delays.
In terms of the sex content;
- Every enemy gets a minimum of 2 sex animations; there are 20 enemies in the game
- Every enemy gets a CG scene with 3-4 variations
- Every boss gets a long-form animation with multiple loops/phases and a CG as well; there are 7 bosses.
- There are 4 or so "environmental traps" that are sex loops (think like a sex machine or hands coming from the wall)
- There are at least 2 cutscenes per level you can find through exploration that are long sex cutscenes
So overall, there's roughly 100+ sex loops in the game.
Sexuality and all that comes with it is woven into the plot of the game too, both through worldbuilding and the actions characters take, their motivations, etc.
All that said, I would estimate sex content probably makes up about 5% of the game's total content, if you're counting story. If you're counting gameplay and ignoring story entirely, it probably makes up 10%.

that said, we will have the game out on;Nutaku, Mikandi, Denpasoft, JAST, MangaGamer, FAKKU, GameJolt, Itch.io, DMM, DLSite, and of course just directly sending you the download link if you pledged $20 cumulatively on Patreon.
v0.49 is the Fire Level alone; there is no demo that exists with all the levels together, not even internally, as that'll be one of the last things we'll be doing to the game to release as fast as possible (so that once everything else is done, a sweep over all the levels is done to bring everything continuity-wise with the code, so to speak)

This is why we always decide on stuff democratically, Triangulate, Frouge and I, because we want this to be our shared design choices and vision so to speak, so that we each get to have our thumbprint on things.
We want to make a game that's something you probably couldn't get away with making at a large corporate studio, and I don't mean just the porn aspect; there's a lot of design/gameplay choices that most big studios would probably think were unreasonable or scoff at, but we wanted them in our game, so they're there.
Once the game comes out, you'll be able to get the editor free, as it'll be built into the game
