I also recommend "Night of Revenge" although it is much darker and yeah its very easy to spot an alt, he cant help sperging about even small criticism
Yeah i have many, but some are missing, also not sure the best provider to upload them to. any demos you need the most? Also yeah probably best to wait until heat dies down, the game is fully finished and hopefully HW wont DMCA the files. also im quite new so idk how to dm a link
I'm relatively new here so I missed out on all the stuff the dev probably did that was evil but the game is fun, and some of the complaints don't match with the reality of what the game is today....

As someone who watched this develop over the last 8 years and backed in the beginning, and now played a few hours into it.. it should have been released as early access on steam. At least then the general populace would just pass it off as "oh just another perpetual WIP hentai game". No one would think twice and HW would have more time to polish it up. As it is calling it a 1.0 is kind of an insult considering the blatant problems anyone who plays the game once through would find.
I was gonna write a review here but it seems locked, probably because the general public compares this release to that ofSubverse, and is review bombing it.
Level 1 is very good 99.99% of the time. But once you finish that the cracks start showing quite rapidly. Including cutscenes being missing, voice acting being missing, features being missing, etc etc. It's not a "bad" game, it's just incomplete.

There's some databank that talks about him, couldn't tell you which one off the top of my head.
It's not me, you wrote a lot, some of it had merit while other things didn't, most points seemed like things we disagree on just from how we view them, and arguing about opinions or whether things were misinterpreted or not won't do any good.
I don't know what NASA's specs are, are they the ones using a bunch of PS3s as a supercomputer? Steam deck gets pretty solid performance, only issue I've seen is sometimes the first time launching a new build has some issues, but subsequent launches work just fine. I'm not fixing shit.

Like it's blank or it just went away? You should be able to hide/show it with M by default.
There's 50 powerups and 3 different boss abilities(6 if you count the charge shot and ability separately). These function pretty similarly to the armor right? With the exception of only the boss stuff being necessary to beat the game while everything else is optional.
Would it have been better if you needed to explore the levels, unlock stuff, then use that unlocked stuff to beat a boss and move on? Considering the things people are getting stuck at now, I could see that turning even more people away if they were gatekept by things like that.
Except it's not just several cutscenes. From the dev's back and forth with people on the discord server, it looks like a lot of text, dialogue, story stuff, cutscenes, and actual stage content are missing. It also looks like there are a lot of bugs and temporary asset placeholders that didn't get removed. It's an incredibly poor look for launch and begs to question what the devs were really doing and prioritizing.several cutscenes are still missing in the later part of the game, specifically earth and onwards. It isn't complete yet, but there have been 2 patches already adding in cutscenes, so at this pace everything should be in within the month.
Or alternatively you can join the bitching and moaning here and complain about a very good porn game. Depends what you see as a better use of your time

No. The boss abilities are pretty much the same gimmick the megaman games use for boss abilities, only FF boss abilities recharge over time, and the equip-able powerups are a different gimmick entirely. Almost like finding heart and energy tanks in a megaman game. The armor in the MMX games are a one and done unlock that's permanent throughout the game. For example, the arm parts give you a better charge shot.
Not even just to help beat a boss, I mean do literally anything aside from collecting all of them gets you the true ending. We already have the golden terminals as well, so having two different sets of things to collect for the same exact purpose is just monotony.
Despite all the faults in the game and the developer hell, I want to marry Talia's voice.
Did the earth level enemy with a seed implantation scene not make it into the game? Weirded out since that was in a demo from years ago.

The dev is very active every on single platform the game is discussed, which feels like time wasted. They even respond to some Steam reviews. They say they're working nonstop to fix the game. Either the dev is just really incompetent and a narcissist, or the dev is a liar and a narcissist.
EDIT: I think it's obvious the dev is very passionate about their game. They just mishandled almost everything and gets really defensive when given criticism.
So, I downloaded a save but it still wants me to unlock the achievements before accessing the gallery. Did I need to do something different or am I meant to actually go and do chores in game?

Achievements aren't stored in the "ffdata.sav" file, they're stored in the "ffData_global.sav" file. So you'll need one of those.

In regards to non-con, the only thing I saw (I didn't play the whole game because we all played the whole game like 4 years ago) was the Faye scene with the scraper. That seems to be non-con as Faye asks for help. Also, some game overs are clearly not what Talia wants, such as the Ice Grunts freezing her and spitroasting her. While it isn't what she seems to want, she goes on about big cocks and cuming, so dub-con at best?
At least now everyone can see what I (and others) have always seen. HW is a fucking fraud and a scammer. Leeched patreon money (probably still is) and had no intentions to deliver a good product to anyone. Laugh at this man. And laugh at me, for purchasing the game I played four fucking years ago.
