Yes, it was me, I've been working on the English translation, but I'm sorry to say that I've not had a lot of time to finish it off, I only have about 8,000 lines left to do. I'm going to try and finish it off this month.

No worries. I'm not in any rush; Smarmint was wondering what had happened, so I figured you might have an update. So the update is that the translation is progressing. I'm actually helping to translate and beta test for some games here on F95 myself, so I 100% understand.

I second that. I'm Not Thea Lundgren! , no hurry. Thank you for helping make this game accessible to us non-francophones. I never bug developers for updates, but I am glad to hear that this game is still in work. I'd hate for the dev to lose interest because of a few vocal people. I think he has a lot of fans on these pages that like the game and want to see what happens next in the story.

I went looking for Viperr's Patreon account and was surprised to find that they don't have any apparent crowdsourced funding. If there is nobody paying for it and the game is just a hobby then I guess it shouldn't be surprising that there might be a long time between releases. I guess even Patreon games can have long pauses, but usually the subscriber numbers start to fall off and convince the devs to finish up a release.

i can't get past the puzzle for opening the cell's to free the prisoners it just gives me the option to give up and i get this error . I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

I'm not exactly sure what your issue is. Are you getting this error while trying to solve the puzzle, and so you're not able to solve it? Or, instead, are you having trouble solving the puzzle (one issue) and you're also getting that error somewhere else (a second issue)? For the puzzle itself, as Not Thea pointed out, there was a previous post of the solution, which you can find here: f95zone.to/threads/galaxy-v1-4-viperr.20193/post-2813189

As for the error, it might be helpful to know when this happens (e.g., what few actions you take right before the error). It's possible someone like anne O'nymous may know what's going on. If not, the next time viperr gets on here, he might be able to take a look and see himself.

For those that are stuck with the free roaming part, here's an order that works :

Never would have completed the freeroam on the Galaxy without this handy list of steps for the different tasks. The map is neat, but the task some of the task sequences are not intuitive. Some have clues, but quite a few do not.

Map reminds me of Callisto's map. It uses different colored icons to indicate areas with story elements. A version of that might be useful on the Galaxy... some kind of visual cue and the ability to complete the multistep tasks indepently of each other, like how the freeroams of Callisto or Tales From The Unending Void handle them.
