We need to know the code or reason given by windows for the bsod. It pays to write down or save any and all BSOD errors given. When it reboots, it might be a good idea to read the crash dump files.
I had one while playing The Twist last week.. Didn't know my drivers needed updating (I routinely update programs but somehow my notifications were fucked (Win 10)). It crashed and gave me an error. So I looked it up and found the dump file... Windows called for a file my driver didn't have and crash! Updating graphics driver worked!
The only reason I got to the bottom of this issue was while it blue screened, I wrote down the error (or you can ss with your phone). It rebooted and I was already on my laptop checking out the error. When it finished rebooting, I looked at the Event Viewer and it confirmed my suspicion. FIXED!
Ok, next time I will. I've played it since without a BSOD, so it probably had nothing to do with the game

I am playing this for the first time. And I want to add to the pile that this game desperately needs a walkthrough, which I gather is a patreon reward.

Getting a perfect examination does not seem very easy, if at all possible, without having created, the scenario yourself. I would say having the codex include treatment would be a logic conclusion. As far as I could tell, there was no way of knowing what to prescribe to the dermatosis patient without having to actually google it.
I would suggest the codex still contain the current text, as it is kinda cool to be able to read up on diseases, but there should be some clearly marked separated bullet points with symptoms and treatment. Maybe in different colors, red for symptoms green for treatment.

I realize this would dramatically decrease the difficulty of the game, but from what I have seen so far, your only option is to trial and error over and over, which is not fun gameplay.

I mean, what is the gameplay supposed to be? Is this a training exercise for aspiring doctors? Because then the difficulty is probably appropriate and adequately challenging. But I am getting the feeling that it is meant to be an visual novel with a reoccurring minigame. Not having the minigame solvable by clues provided in the game itself seems way off base.

The game reminds me of . In that game you play as a bartender, and only serve people drinks and listen to their stories. Stories and plot development is interrupted by having to mix the appropriate drinks. You have a guidebook which describes ingredients and tastes of the different drinks, so you can find the right one.

Thanks for your feedback.

Although I understand what you're saying (even though a free version of the walkthrough has already been released), I'm already applying something to help in examinations using the doctor's knowledge stat (I need to apply it to each exam, I'm working on it). You can either enable or disable this kind of help from the settings screen.

The point though is not to complete each exam 100%, even because it has a minor impact on gameplay. Yeah, you can earn some more money, or fame, but it's like playing Detroit: Become Human with a guide to choose the "best action" to take instead of accepting your own mistakes and let the game progress.

Since the game it's an alpha, I really need every kind of feedback. If all people play the "perfect" scenario, how can I know if the "imperfect" one is working at all? The goal of the game is to enjoy the story while living the life of a GP. You could skip the exams completely if you wish and still have many things to do.

Still, the average player needs help, that's what I'll introduce in the future, you're quite right on that. :)

since your hanging around a lot in the thread Bruni, I have a question... since I mostly play the game as a doctor simulator that just so happens to have sex scenes in them (and since Claudia hasnt reached that part yet), Are the sex scenes with Rita and Erika better than the ones with Elsa ? her scenes after the first one are 1 screen only, and if they are better will you eventually update Elsa's scenes ? I know she is coming up for an arc where she ends up pregnant (cant wait to find out what this is, if the MC is the dad, or if its still from her husband and tries to frame us LOL).

After Erika who at first I thought was gonna end up lesbian and not into us Elsa was my favorite non-related girl (then again poor Rita with her tomboy look, and Kiko being Kiko... didnt do much for me so Elsa had no competition !).

Sex scenes are being updated and improved as we speak.

I added many pictures of sex with Erika and Elisa, and some with Rita too (others will come of course). Having sex with people will also contain randomly chosen descriptions, phrases from both the characters and the MC, each created for the specific character behavior (you'll be surprised how the shy Rita can dirty talk while fucking).

This way each time you have sex with someone the very same scene won't play (or it will, but after three-four times, it's not like the random exams where combinations are very much more!), and I also think that sexual tension will build the right way. :)

Your pretty damn good at it to be honest (building tension that is) Your game is in my top 5 most anticipated games when they update, I dont immediately jump on the newest patch (I feel I dont deserve to play at the same time as your patrons that are actually paying) which is why I am currently 2 patches behind. I wish you had a slightly bigger portfolio of games so I can fully support... its just nowadays devs quit their games so easily when things start to look amazing...

What probably drives me over the edge with tension in your game is def Claudia ! Its been very teasing, and interesting to read... its not the usual relationship that some peope hate about incest games where its either "dude blackmails/rapes relative and then they are into them" or "mom saw his penus in shower and now wants to sit on it". Claudia is kind of flirty with MC, but not aggressively so, and stops at just the right time in both instances (makeout in bed during the doctor confference arc) and (makeout on bench during spring festival). Its like her heart wants it, but her mind still thinks its "a little" wrong.

IMO. the sister is the best character. She´s the one that seems to be more like a real person. I´m not talking about the 3D model (not my favorite, the hair is weird and the body too "perfect" and "conventional" for my taste and for a woman in her 30´s and with a child) but about the personality and the story behind her. For me, she´s the best worked out character of the script, and for that reason, the most interesting and exciting. Also, and very important, she´s a taboo. A doctor having an affair with the nurse or a patient, for example, is too "vanilla" for an erotic game, IMO, if there are no other fetishes attached to the relationship.

Something else: I like that patients of different ages has different bodies, and pretty realistic ones. It would be great too for the romantic or sexual interests of the MC. Not everybody like only characters with the body of a 20 y.o. model or a pornstar for the sexual scenes.

A tour of St. Mary's Clinic

As I'm feeling better, while still in the process of recovering from an annoying ailment involving my liver, I'm introducing you the new graphic for St. Mary's clinic, both internal and external.

Right now you just saw the waiting room and three exam rooms, other than the staff bathroom, however there are many places yet-to-explore in the game, and this is what you'll see next.

This rooms will feature new dialogues, new story scenes and new interactions with all your staff, both doctors and support ones.

New management features are about to be added to the game as well, in order to further expand the game's possibilities and situations and eliminate "grinding" time (which I understand is low but which I aim to decrease even more!)

Keep following me for new updates about the game!

Be safe and healthy!

You know what: St Mary's is a clinic in small town so there most probably isn't much high buildings around but there should be at least some. Even in promo pictures. You can always photoshop the most hideous parts away if it's about that ;). Now it looks like a bit too heavenly place to live and practice medicine. Just remembering Ray's Bar and several patients walking in (or being helped by law enforcement in) from street...

Oh yes indeed, these are just some example renders of the actual clinic (they are dark too and "empty"), it's not what it will look like in the final product (cars will be added as well in the parking lot). It's just to give an idea about where I'm aiming with the representation of the clinic :)

Clinic, houses, gym, swimming pool, etc. are important, but what really catches the eyes of gamers are the renders of the MC. and the rest of the characters, IMO

Right now you can only have one but you can switch to another one by using the phone when she is listed in there.

Later when the game is done you can have as many as you want.
