on ver 0.0.19 7th fix, no error log and the game doesn't crash, it just won't launch when I open it. But now with the new ver 0.0.20.5 Alpha, it's still not working but now I get an error messsage that says "The application General Practitioner can't be opened." And so I'm going to have to skip this game for now and hopefully I'll be able to play in my Mac in the future.

The upcoming release of General Practitioner will feature "cars and motorcycles" available for the Doctor to buy and own. While I'm still in the process of balancing cost/effect of each one I can already tell which models will be available at release.
With Cars and Motorcycles you'll be able to choose how the Doctor will move throughout the city. The first effect will be less energy drop when moving of course. The better the car/moto the better effects you'll earn month after month.
Some cars will also unlock special scenese with your romantic interests, so be warned
Cars and Motorcycles will feature:
Owning some particular kind of car will grant you more charm, others will grant you more Fame to the clinic and others some sexperience as well. It's up to you to choose how much you're willing (or are able to) spend to buy a car/moto while also keeping tabs of the clinic's financial status.

- Cheap Car
- Convertible Car
- Sports Car
- Elite Racer
- Standard Motorcycle
- Road Eagle Motorcycle (shown in the preview picture).

Yes I also get it. I am also attaching a traceback for it. I get it when I do the exam in afternoon. It takes you to the hospital where we do exam and there this error occurs.

Mmh no, this error you're reporting is for release 0019_2 which is not only out of date (0.0.20_5 has been posted here) but also refers to an error with the compressed version. My advice: delete the game and redownload it completely as your game folder misses some files. Then again, this is something I can't fix.
As for the other issue: expect a fast fix very soon. And thanks.

@dev The latest reviews talk about how the medical stuff is too hard in relation to the sexual content. Are there plans to make the sex vs medical content ratio better for people who are mainly interested in the girls and the sex or will this always be a medical simulator primarily with some sexiness?

Thank you. it was weird, I would get exceptions 2, 1 after the other and then some 11 years old female, its like 3 events were combined in oneThis is the fix (0.0.20_6) for the issues you reported (P7313978851_meet not found).
Apply this and reload the game before reporting more of it.

Thank you for this question, as it gives me the chance to actually talk about this and even ask you (not you personally) something.
I'm quite amused as svscomics and other websites refer to General Practitioner as a "porn game", when I never intended it to be like that. That can be proven also by this message I exchanged with an user on Indiedb who a year ago said:
"What is this porn bullshit doing on this site"
to which I replied:
"Actually this is not porn at all. It's an adult-oriented visual novel with sex scenes that are entirely skippable if not liked. The main goal of the game is an accurate medical simulation of a doctor's daily life and work routine. Try it out, you may be surprised."

I always mentioned games like "Emergency Room" from Legacy Games to have inspired this game's development (

), and those were simulators.That said, I also listened to players' feedback and introduced a lot of help about medical situations. You can also activate a switch in the settings to have half the wrong choices disappear (like in "Who wants to be a Billionaire?"), and the Codex is being rewritten completely to help players understand medical exams.
Plus, completing medical exams 100% or 0% doesn't influence the story, which is where sex scenes are played (even a few animated ones, as listening to other feedback from the players), so you can completely avoid going to the clinic and still experience the game's stories and relationships (well, maybe not Erika's but oh well, she's a nurse after all).
I also said I don't want a game who plays by itself as this is a videogame and I'd like players to play it with some effort. If you (not you personally) wish to see all x-rated images skipping all the content be my guest: I shall zip them and send them to you
On Patreon, but even on this site, the term "Visual Novel" is used even when games have nothing to do with Visual Novels (lots of grinding, very few stories and rushed relationships in so many of them). GP is a Visual Novel, it has about 40+ hours of gameplay as of now and it's growing. Of course players' feedback is not only suggested, it's NEEDED, but it's taken into consideration when it's aimed to improve the game as it is, not to ask for a game which General Practitioner was never meant to be.
People mainly interested in sex and girls will find some fun in General Practitioner, but this is NOT a porn game where you play sex scenes every few minutes, and the game never "lost itself" because it always followed this way. There is sex, there is incest (albeit in a VERY different way as it's usually depicted on most games i.e. "FUCK ME BRO, FUCK ME LIKE A BITCH"), there are threesomes, a bit of cuckoldry and voyeurism, but it's inside a bigger box.
The fact of the game being on porn pirate websites and addressed as "porn" game is not a fault of the game, it is the websites'.
This is an "Adult videogame", which is something very different and doesn't necessarily means sexual-related (even if GP has got sexual content).

Mmh, this is the first time this has been reported, that's pretty strange. I also tried those myself and they are not repeating. Can you please send me a saved game before the exam repeats itself? You can either attach it here or send it to bugs[at]brunimultimedia.com
As for Robyn's exam it depends on how much you make him angry.
What makes him angry?
- Ignore him when you ask question #1
- Tell Robyn "Don't listen to anyone telling you can't do it."
- Asking question #2
- Insist to have an answer after asking question #2
- Remark on the importance of vaccines (question #5)
- Confront him after asking question #7
- Asking question #8
- Just proceeding with the examination
He's got a point marker to 10. Each choice will increase the marker by something (from 1 to 4), so you need to avoid getting him too angry. That's a very difficult situation, it's working as intended.
