I think the whole conversation is useless. I don't depict children naked in the whole game. Never have and never will.
I stated this in the game, in the readme, in patreon, here, in another forum. I can't be more clear than this.
The "niece" is just a character in the story, which will become important over the next updates if the MC chooses certain paths. She's not naked and HER MOTHER is naked in the aforementioned images.
There are youtube videos with kids showering with their parents. Is that **********? Please don't offend your intelligence!

In the medical examination, the whole CORE of the game, you will examine boys in their underwear and girls with their tops on. Legacy Games in the 90's depicted medical exam of children that way and were not accused of anything.

Ah, i shall warn you that incest is ILLEGAL both in the EU and in (most states?) of the USA too. 90% of the games here depict incest. Don't tell anyone about this please.

New Jersey is one of the only places I can think of off the top of my head that you can have an incestuous adult relationship. Almost every other state has laws prohibiting it. I didn't bother to read through everything because it's a stupid but if you want to check the wiki for more infos, knock yourself out.

I believe you. I also think it's reasonable to depict children in their underwear in the doctor scenario. But ultimately it doesn't matter what you or I think. It's what the law is, and how it's interpreted.
I personally think sex with children in cartoons, as revolting and distasteful as it is, is not child pornography. Doesn't matter. The law says it is (at least in my country) and I can stick my opinion where the sun doesn't shine. Afaik the law doesn't have an opinion on incestuous pixels.
You have obviously thought about this, and for the greater part I'm sympathetic to your arguments. But I think it would be wise to consult legal advice in your country concerning this. Don't take the opinions of some random strangers on the Internet (yes, that includes me) as anything approaching common sense, truth, or legal advice. If I were you (and I'm not) I'd want to play it safe.
Please note that I am *not* saying your game has anything to do with child pornography and I enjoyed it when I played it.

Mate you can't go to jail for having kids in a game that has some sexual acts if the kids aren't part of the sexual act. If you can then please contact steam and the company that made the witcher 3 or better yet the police.

I'm going to be very clear about this @FallenLondon . There's no child pornography in this game or in our website, especially when there's no actual child being put in suggestive shots. I advise you to change topics or i'll ban you for a whole month.

Not even Patrons know this yet but... Trip to Seattle (0.0.4a) will be out for $20 patrons on July 8th with other releases every saturday until the public one on the 29th.
Thanks to all of you people who understand what I'm trying to do with this game. Sex scenes will be present with A LOT of fun (I hope) gameplay. You won't be disappointed by the continuation of the story arc in July's update, I'm sure of that.
The only (big) problem I have is the time. Since I work and have a family (and a pregnant wife to take care of) I can only work at the game a few hours per week, but for now I'm able to deliver monthly updates, which I think is a success because many development teams out there don't seem to be able (or willing) to do the same.
I just hope people recognize this dedication of mine.

When will the game be considered "Complete?"
I already stated in many previous posts that General Practitioner will cover an entire in-game year, starting from May 1st until April 30th of the following year. But when will a month be considered "complete?"
Let's just say that in my intentions this game should include:
- 6 to 8 examinations per month (72 to 96 examinations in the full game)
- 3 to 4 story arcs per month (36 to 48 story-related events in the full game)
- Special events (Holidays, Christmas, etc. etc.)
- A (still) indefinite number of characters to interact with
- At least 10 staff members to hire
- At least 30 new equipment to buy to improve the clinic
And if I'll ever reach some of the goals on Patreon even hospital exams, original soundtrack, specific wards (Dermatology / Pediatrics / Psychology and more) will be added!
So the first month (May) will be completed in 0.0.6 (at most). Of course the more time I'm able to dedicate at this project the more updates I can release, so for now I can't speculate on a "Beta" release date, while I'll try my best to guarantee at least a monthly update for patrons (and a 6 weeks-update for the general public).
Continue to follow the development of the game, your support is truly invaluable. I'm astonished by how many people are showing interest in this idea of mine.

Does time of day matters for activity events? for instance, do you miss a family time event if you don't do them in the morning or something.

Yeah, you could miss some famiy time-related events if you simply don't do them.
You could also miss the entire story arc if you simply won't go to the clinic at all. That's not what 99% of players will do but it will be possible.

Time of day in the game is divided to Morning, Afternoon and Evening. Do you miss an event in the Gym if you go there in the Evening instead of the Morning? Things like that. Wondering if the events are linked to time of day as well as the date.
