On another note.... i modded the city gym so you dont get kicked from kickboxing gym.... so you dont have to go through menus for it

I hit that early on by mistake, Mom wouldn't talk to me at all and it seemed like it took forever to get back into good graces with her. Something I hadn't expected at all.

Thanks toolkitxx for your instructive comments. In one playthrough it happened to me that none of her schoolmates wanted to talk to her anymore, that was the end of this approach. I wonder if it is fun playing rejecting all lewd advances, it does not sound like fun to me, although I obviously kind of overdid bringing her down to a slut. It is justthat I don't like women who are too prude to suntan in the nude.

Well - i didnt want to post anything yet but to put you guys at ease - here is a little taste of some changes i made in my mod to keep you from stumbling blind in the future.

The status area will list immediate effects nicely bundled and much more alerting when they change. I added pop-up messages for a couple of things that are not obvious or where missing in areas. Like sleeping on a bench in the park - this is how my solution looks like:

Think of it as character development. Would you seriously go the 'full slut' way without expecting consequences? The actual challenge in Girl life is to balance the 'slut' and 'saint' stuff into something useful. If you want your mother on your side you have to make amends or follow some basic rules - like getting home in time at night. Many are not aware of that you can ask your mom for money - basically every day when your grades are top you can get some 300P for free without losing out on relation to her. That means with good grades you dont have to do 'dirty' work like cleaning floors. Which also lowers your mood beside earning you money. Almost everything in GL has a bonus and/or a malus.

The set where the story plays is important as well - actions in the 'big' city are having less brutal consequences than the ones you get in the little villages/hometown. I used to live in a smaller community and can relate to damaged reputation
Overall i think GL is marvellous - it just lacked a bit of user guidance.

You can actually manage to be a 'superslut' without getting your hometown all upset - you just have to be a bit more selective when you do what with whom.

@toolkitxx , nice changes, mate. It is weird that the game shows those important status messages at the bottom of the Additional Descriptions window. Especially if you use the default QSP layout, or have a small screen.
And I agree, the game needs some user guidance. It definitely feels overwhelming for a new player.

This is how my layout is done - the status area still gets some extra love but is already a lot better than before

P.S.: I attach my guiconfig file here - using that setup even on an unmodded version makes things better to read.
Instruction: Find your Quest Soft Player folder and replace the qspgui.cfg file with the downloaded one.
Recommendation: Copy your current one into a backup if you play other qsp games that require the standard setup

@toolkitxx , yeah, I saw part of it on one of your previous shots and moved my Additional desc tab on the right as well. I gave it a try before but it's a little tricky to find the right drop point, and I was thinking it can only go under the Objects tab. But after seeing it can be done, I found the right way to arrange the UI. It's much better that way. Scrolling down for the Q.Load when I cheat at the casino is so annoying

The whole reason i did it is because i removed all 'move' and 'interact' hyperlinks from the description window and those all have proper actions now (or better said almost all). The description window is clean in my version and using mouse and keypad becomes less of a hassle because anything you need to click is completely on one side now. My old wrists dont tolerate hectic moving around for hours ^^
In my gui-file i docked the mini-window for clothing or body description on top of the object window. That way it doesnt pop up in the middle of something

I am confused, when in school during class, sometimes a guy touches youre boob. If you slap him you get sendet to the principal, and get a warning to be punished. If you let it happen, i guess it goes further? But is ther a way to stop them or do you have to endure it, for not getting in trouble with the principal?

When your 'slut' and 'exhibitionism' stats are high enough you will get further options.

i think i found a bug.

when you enter anushka's room (she is not home) and click on the laptop computer, the main window and the action window goes blanc. only reload from an older save helps.

Not sure if you are already using 0.61 or still 0.60 - but in any case you should be able to get out of it another way. In the frame where your telephone link is - there is one option called 'Additional'. Below that is an option called 'emergency exit' - that is supposed to be the rescue option if you end up in something like you experienced.

Regarding reporting bugs - that would be the TFG website as listed on the first page of this thread.

Started up a new game on 6.1 and after a week or two, my Pain has suddenly maxed out and my health is in the dumps. I don't see any indication on the status area of what the fuck is wrong. Ideas? I am assuming I missed some plot point.

*edit* Oh my fucking Jesus. One of the fucking submenus is 'Pain' and says "You feet are in extreme pain." This is because of my damn shoes and sinking multiple stats is not worthy of making it to the main status page!?

I had to resort to the 'cure all ailments' cheat. Just wearing flat shoes wasn't actually removing the pain even after several days. Not sure if the new shoe stuff is buggy, poorly balanced, or just has the shittiest UI imaginable for statuses, which let me get into such a pain state that I can't figure out how to recover.

Yeah, I remember seeing some discussion among the current devs about the pain caused by high heels. I think they have a thing for that kind of stuff. Not sure how accurate this is, being a man myself, I've never walked on high heels.
