well.. linking to the website for the program (the english one) or the qsp.su website hardly falls under those categories since there's no issues with linking to a games patreon site

Our release page carries that link and it should be in the OP here too. Its fairly obvious even in Russian that Windows, Android, MacOS or Linux (I've been told the AeroQSP will run on iPhone but never seen proof of this) are the options of choice depending on your OS.

Sorry for being a Newbie, but can someone point out Instructions (here) where to get the game engine and how to place all the parts (including the mod (maybe)) together. I ran around the web getting most of the game but still fuzzy as how to place it all together, and if the instructions are in the 21 pages here it would make it alot easier to have them on the first or end post please.

If you have all the parts (version 0.6.0.1 and the updates to 0.6.1),
just download QSP from the post above yours. Even if you can't understand russian,
it is fairly obvious which one to choose.

Extract all the files in one folder ( girl life + QSP ),
start QSP, click on quest (left top),
open game and choose the girl life 0.6.1.qsp.

@Imskel , mods are just different .qsp files. So when you start the game (the way @ownedhard explained it), instead of choosing the original 0.6.1.qsp, you choose the modified version.

I am still confused as to where to place the Images and sound folders or files thats my biggest problem.

You could use our mod which has done that for you already but lose out on content added since 0.601 or you could try to use a programme like 'EasyImageSizer' and batch reduce the pictures yourself. I warn though about gifs. Those cant be easily batch resized without losing the 'movie' functionality

The images rubbed me the wrong way too. But without those there will be nothing left. The writing is very poor, not to mention the machine translation on some scenes.

Some other games (rubedo, schoollife) have option to set images height, so it should probably be easy to modfiy qsp file and add this option here too.

No it isnt because the code is made for the classic player thus only a reduced set of html commands are valid. To take full advantage of full html dynamic resizing , fitting etc it would require an update of the player itself or a move to navigator.

IMO writing is not worst than most of similar games, and better than a good number of them, and the idea of a sandbox with a regular college girl is great, but 90% of images does not suit well with the game, they are just random porn, so I would prefer just a small number of images: locations and faces of the caracters.

In the cheat menu main page there is a set image option, click the X there and it'll ask you to enter the height for images. They will be resized to that height throughout.

I has a problem, I tried to extract 0.6.0 Core Image Pack but i keep getting file is corrupt, i have downloaded it several times and each time it says the same thing can someone help out.

Have you tried using different extracting program ? Never had problems with 7zip personally.
