Hopefully he read this thread. The post above is correct and he needs to start charging more. I've only chipped in 5 bucks 1 month but am more than willing to spend like 20 once the whole game is completed. Hell keep the subscription model while development is underway. Once completed try and get the thing on steam. Look at other prices games try and guage how much people are willing to spend on it etc. Hell I'll just drop links to this game in different corners of the internet once he ups the price from $1. That's way too little.

There are two sides of this coin. First - you can't limit your possible profits, by charging lowest possible price for the access to your work. Why would someone pay 3$ or 5$ when they can get the latest update for 1$? What's even the point of charging 25$? Where are 10 and 15 dollar tiers (not that they make sense at the moment, but with proper patreon page they do)?
NTR is already a niche, it's not about your generic young mc with gigantic dick romancing his "landlady", "roommate" and every woman that he meets. So you are already working with a smaller audience. You have to take more money from them.
But here comes the other side of the coin - people won't pay you for nothing, just because you have made it more expensive does not mean people will just accept that. They won't, obviously. It's their money we are talking about. So offer more value - more updates (talking about simply telling your audience what are you doing/working on), w.i.p sketches, some extra game related cg art (people would love to see Riley and Mia in cosplay for example, or getting railed in a club orgy or whatever - even if it's not canon story related), drawing streams, q&a, access to polls etc. Hell - make a pricy tier where a winner gets to work with you on a male character with his name that's gonna fuck main female and cuck the MC. Sounds corny, but isn't that something interesting? Something fun?
It's already kinda too late to offer this in relation to Girlfriend Tapes, but Booty Professor wants to make another game and I can guarantee that if he doesn't change his business model - he's either gonna have to accept that he's working on it as a hobby, or he's gonna quit out of frustration because money simply won't be flowing.

Agreed, I supported for around 8 months, but stopped when we went 3 months without an update. Awesome artist, but needed more $$ which would hopefully lead to more consistent generation of updates. I'd happily purchase end product.
New post on the Patreon. Tl;dr:
- He had to manually export all the new images to every single variation (raised eyebrows, expressions, heart pupils etc). It ended up being 679 PNG files. For comparison, in the 0.9 version of the game there are 389 images total.
- He is tweaking sound files a bit.
- Writing is progressing, but still far from being completed.
- If everything goes well the update should be this mouth, probably holidays (no date given).

My assumption for any game/update nearing completion around the holidays is that it will slip into January. It's rare to see a release after the 22nd, people attention is focused elsewhere.

I assume they are other routes. I found these as well when going through game files.
The top two are internally called "d32m2" and "d32s1", and are found within the script.
The other four aren't found in the script files.
They must be concept art accidentally left in.

Hello friends!
I've been slowly progressing with writing and everything else needed to wrap things up. It just takes longer because there's more stuff to do than usual. By a lot.
One of those is saving all the drawings as actual image files. It's not exactly my favourite part of the process because it's boring and takes a shitload of time. Usually I'm done with it in about a day but I knew this time it will be longer since there's a lot more variations to the CG's than usual.
Also I might've ended up drawing another one. But it was done fairly quickly because it's just silhouettes behind a curtain. There's supposed to be a massage scene in the update which isn't anything special, not to warrant a full CG so I wanted to do it with only showing the sprites. But then I stumbled upon nt00's 'There's something wrong with her head' after a long time and got inspired by the massage scene in the latest chapter. The one I did is pretty low effort but it's still more immersive than if it were just the sprites.
With that the tally of CG's is up to 21 and I'm finally done with turning them into PNG's after not one, not two, not even three but four days of showing the desired layers, clicking 'save as' and adding a number from 0-9 to the end of their names. That's how I ended up with 679 images.
I knew it was going to be a lot but I was surprised by that number, even more so after finding out that as of the last version there were 389 images ALTOGETHER in the game. But before anyone gets hyped, just remember that it's still 21 CG's and the high number of variations come from raised eyebrows, heart pupils, coom variants, etc., so it's the same stuff I've been doing before, only this time I've drawn more expressions, hence there's more combinations I can do.
That said, there's some more complex stuff as well that's not just expressions. Oh, by the way, out of those 389 a number of them weren't sex stuff, e.g. Libido-kun, but all new CG's strictly depict fun times.
Also, skimming through all the images hits different than when I post them individually as teasers. The improvements to the art are more striking.
I decided to cut all the music because currently I don't have it in me to start hunting for tracks in order to make a better soundtrack. However, I'll add the sounds to the previous update while also doing some mixing and edits to the sexy noises. I already experimented for a bit and I figured out how to make them more interesting.
I'm also a bit sentimental about them since I gave my best effort to find and edit all the sounds back in the day. Anyway, they'll do just fine for this game but for the next one I'll probably start out with no sound at all and then look at my opportunities for premium sounds along the way.
Speaking of. I'm delighted to finally showcase you the fist concept art for Kanae, the upcoming game's heroine. Well, actually, it's her younger version, which will appear in the lengthy prologue and perhaps occasional flashbacks. I need to work that part out. I like the colour scheme, the hair, hell I like pretty much everything even though it's the first version. To be fair I've had the idea of how she'll look in my mind for well over a year. Let me know what you think.
So, I'm still in the process of writing and will be for a while but if there's no obstacles I should be able to wrap everything up this month. It would be nice if I could make it in time for the holidays. We'll see how it works out.
(I'm cautious not to jinx anything so no exact date guys)

I am completely against Pepsi but liked the packaging so said why dont I give a try for this once, but man I gotta ask how do you bearing this shit? I mean I understanding the flavour but why can't I do nothing about it? I couldnt even dump it. Respect for everyone's preference but this just seems ridiculous to me.
You can dump her. There are multiple paths, you just gotta make correct decisions, but yeah in the end this is NTR kink game at its core. Here I explained all 7 paths in 0.9.
NTR is not my main thing, but I have nothing against it, it's definitelly better than boring vanilla "nerdy but good looking white guy with big dick" harem games. I fell in love with this game when I found out there is a good path to get together with Riley (5). Try that one.

Think you’re trying to make it more complicated than it seems in trying to find some spectacular reason on why people enjoy certain stuff. It all comes down to preferences. For me, I find harem vanilla Romance games insanely boring and I don’t know how ppl enjoy such fake fluff shit and vice versa those ppl find NTR boring etc.

That's why you hate ntr or don't like it because you want to put yourself in mc shoes and it don't work if your are not the masochist type and you put yourself in limitation...but that doesn't mean all who love ntr genre they are "beta males"... most of the people don't put in the shoes of mc....Think like a kintetic novel you follow the story outside the box.
Example for me genre "ntr games" I like to see mc be humiliate because I don't put myself in the shoes of mc. See someone humiliate excite me more maybe is sadism that I like, but it's important to be on pov male for build up and some "mystery ntr" is more interesting and spicy the story up because is not in your face from the start, for me netorase it's become easy boring game because the mc give approve gf or wife to be whore and sleep with anyone, it's less exciting for me.
Also the swinging, netorare, netorase genre if is to vanilla it become boring and less exciting, you need to come with good twist and drama to spicy up the story between the characters...if is to flat you aleardy know what will happen or how will end it and it become boring automate that's why harem type become boring for some time if don't have some interesting events, and I don't get the netorare genre when have only the pov female it doesn't feel ntr at all for me.

I stopped supporting this dude. Love the geame, but he's milking the FUCK out of it. I had a long conversation with a real game dev from rockstar about development. Hilariously, he also plays porn games. He basically told me that a game like this could be released by a team of 5 in literally a month and some change. If they could only use their off time to do it, 3-4 months. I told him about the final update taking 9 months, and he straight called his ass out. Even working 2 hours a day on the final update should have only taken this guy 3 months. If any of us were supporting him for this last update, we got the shit scammed out of us.
Sure, writing story and dialogue, Ren'Py scripting etc, does not that take long, but it's not surprising that it would take long time to make art for an inspiring artist who is still in process of improving his art in his spare time. How much do you accomplish after work?
If the developer of this game really wanted to get money out of his Patreons, he would have regularly pushed out shitty micro updates, locked behind Patreon tier of at least $3.5. Most of his patreons are paying $1 a month with understanding that game will come when it does. How is that a scam?
