It makes my soul cry, Mav.

Sad thing is, it happens in every lesbian game.

Female protag, only women in the banner and preview pics only show women and lesbian acts...

Someone in comments .... "any male and female sex"....

Every . single . time.
I do try to bring them into the light... It's like herding cats...

So many characters and backstories and jumping back into the past... if not for the hot babes, I'd put this game away... and there hasn't even been a single sex scene in hours... just some making out followed by cockblocking... i like a good story but I barely get to know one character before more show up and the story suddenly follows them... was this story put in a blender?

If it makes you feel better, I could probably find a half-dozen posts of me in random games with no lesbian tag asking if there is any girl x girl sex.

(I feel like that is a somewhat legit question though, as there are, or at least used to be, games without the tag because the girls fucked each other during MFF 3somes, and there's often confusion as to wether the tag means "girls doing the sexy with other girls" or "characters who are lesbians and have sex".)

i mean, it's actually not that hard to read them damn tags, right? ...right?

and then right in the OP:
Genre:
3DCG, Female protagonist, Harem, Lesbian, Teasing, Twins, Superpowers, Sci-fi, Fantasy , Point & Click, Graphic violence, Big ass, Big tits, Groping, Monster girl, Adventure

i do check out some games, out of curiosity ...or sometimes b/c waifu is nagging me about it, even while they don't contain any of lessay 'preferred tags' when i see the description, or the preview, or when i know the dev from other games. fair's fair.
what i wouldn't do is making a new account and ask right away for what's clearly not in the game, plainly visible from the tags, and the previews, and most of the time from just looking through posts on the first page of a thread.

The art is fantastic - though the font on the main menu makes my eyes bleed - but, is it just me, or does the story just not... connect? I'm admittedly not that far into it, but I'm finding it confusing - you go from rescuing some twins to getting your arm cut off, to something else.

I'm all for non-linear stories, but it just feels as though the player is expected to have some inside knowledge regarding the characters and the world before playing that would make things make sense.

Ah. To me, that kind of explanation should be part of the game in some fashion - perhaps I haven't played it long enough to find it, but after a couple of hours I should have come across at least some kind of explanation of certain things.

This'll probably end up in the 'when I've got nothing else to play' group, but it's still a beautiful game.

All explanations are in the game.

Everything that needs to be known is explained.

The only difference this has to any other game is it's not told in a linear fashion. It does involve paying attention and if someone skips parts they will not be able to follow it properly.

The story is very different to most VN's and does require a bit of thought and a lot of paying attention to details.

This is almost exactly my reaction to playing it. This game takes some effort to grok, but it's worth it. There's actually a great story once you get enough of it in your head to be able to make sense of it. I ended up playing once and WTF-ing my way through a lot of it before it started to make sense, then replaying it from scratch on the next release and it made a ton more sense. (And, I have to admit, I actually took some notes to keep the characters straight. This game would benefit a lot from a built-in character guide, although given the nonlinear timeline I don't know how that could be easily done without it being spoilery af.)

Yeah, every time this game pops up in my feed, I think maybe this time I can understand it. But the game is definitely not for people with ADHD, I just start to forget what happened and what the hell is going on.

Never have I felt more seen...

I love the art, and I think the story is interesting and original - it's just not presented in a way that's easy for me to follow, and that's ok - it's not about me, that's for damn sure!

I don't understand the time changes either. :D
It's possible that I didn't focus enough on the plot, because this one is less linear.
