Did you guys have very domineering mothers or quite passive/absent fathers or maybe even a domineering older sister etc? Just wondering how such a kink emerges in men, because in women (dommes) you sometimes find it's either the result of trauma caused by an abusive male figure (so dominating men sexually heals those wounds maybe) or the women are actually lesbians who are only dommes because the pay is good (usually that's why you hear dommes say that they don't feel the dynamic is sexual, but for the men involved it absolutely is) but for men, seems a lot of guys have this kink despite I suppose the more natural inclination being towards slight dominance (the archetypal masculine figure is usually sexually and socially dominant - not apparent to me that it's just a social construct given how interwoven the concept is across different cultures and throughout history, and when I am feeling healthy and virile, I do become slightly more dominant too which makes me think both socialization and testosterone play a role).

Not pointing the finger at anyone with these questions by the way, not your fault really for having them if they are formed so early on, but just curious to understand exactly what's happened. The reason I say this is I noticed that sort of concept in my own childhood. My family very much had the more modern, western dynamic where my mother made all the decisions around the house, my older sister and her friends used to boss me around because of the age gap between us (a possibly how she was raised too) and my dad was also usually bossed around by my mum and quite passive (he could be fiery to anyone outside the family if they were antagonising us but was definitely subservient to my mother and the women in my family didn't really respect him as the "man" of the house, but my mum definitely had everyone's respect).

No.

I once read a book by a researcher in psychology who had a hypothesis on this. It turned out it was wrong. but the men and women he met in his research seemed to have two things in common: They weren't religious and they consumed a lot of pornography.

For my part, I've noticed that when I stay away from these types of fantasies, my cravings do get milder and softer over time.

Interesting introspective. My father was definitely absent, but my mother would only show me conditional love and press me to act like a "man" since they got divorced and he succumbed to alcoholism. Somehow, her, society and my peers and crushes pressing me to take the dominant role changed nothing. I always craved to be loved and taken care of by a woman. I think that is why my femdom kink comes more from the lack of support/love my mom showed me since I was little. And the lack of safety both my mom and my dad provided me.

Is this a shitpost or copypasta im not aware off ? Because you come across as the msot pathetic passive agressive redditor i have ever seen ...your hiding under the auspice of a question when your just pre suposing and judging an entire kink without any evidence or response

This is a rhetorical question you provide no evidence for any claim you are making

Most professional dominatrixes to me seem just intelligent women who understand THERE IS FUCKING MONEY IN IT dosent imply lesbianisem or any sexual dirsction in it really any girl on onlyfans takin pics with her feet and the caption looser for my simps ..does not have a complicated sexual psychosexual reason..its just good buisness...most doms dont have dady issues ....again...its just fucking money

As for your information ...my father was a domenering eastern father brutal and agressive meanwhile every female figure in my life was either outright violated or beaten or dominated in some fashion

I live in one of ..if not the single most patriarchal society in human history

Yet i like women spitting in my mouth and bossing me around

Psychoanalysis is joke in general but twice the joke when made by redditors online the human brain isent this caluclation you can unlock ...freudian thought was a disaster for the human species

maybe he was just curious, as I assume we all have been to why we have a particular interest in femdom (which unfortunately is at least uncommon, the common being maledom).

For a very long time I felt like there was no real answer and that the more I searched for an answer why I was the way I was, the more I realised I truly did not accept myself for who I am. This is a work in progress, but it is getting better.

Even though you didn't like their question, I found your answer interesting to read, it further reassures me that there is no real reason for me to like femdom and that it is totally ok and should be more mainstream (and damn I wish it was the normal) :ROFLMAO:

Anoy9ne making sweeping generalisations of women imediattly gets treated as less then human by me as i said i grew up in a violently mysogonistic culture where most male figures in my life outright told me women enjoy *ape so if someone just randomly frames women in a semi sentient mechanichal psychosexual way like he did it mli see red flags

Just the way he wrote the coment is deliberatly disingenious he wasent curious if he was...he woujd just fucking ask....HEY YOU GUYS HOW DO YOU GUYS THINK GOT INTO FEMDOM ?

something like it

Not writing a diatribe answering his own question

Personally i seek no acceptence for my kink im depressed and ashamed i hate that i have these desires for domination i hate my weakness its somethibg i willl never ever experience

There have been some apparent delays. Just giving reassurance for what it's worth that nothing is abandoned. Trying to set up the new game base in a way that could transfer over to future projects.
Take your time. Better to have waited for something that works and that your proud of than something thats broken and unfinished.

Is Ciara's content part of the new update or she will be the focus at a later time?

The plot thickens Think you could be right though - while many of us have the same kink, I think it can originate from so many different things

It's always baffled me why sexuality works like this - you think it would make evolutionary sense to just be dick in vagina and nothing else, but it's just way more complex for some bizarre reason reflecting deep in psychology. Maybe it makes sense for forming emotional attachments and fulfilling not just reproductive needs but other stuff too. I think if you master your sexuality and get it to work with the other aspects of your psyche in a healthy way you'll be at your best

I promise that wasn't my intention, you do raise some good points tbf though, shouldn't have made any sweeping generalisations but I have looked up a lot of dominatrix interviews because I have been curious as to why they are so rare, but the kink is more common in men (why dommes are rare but guys on the submissive side are so common), and that is just what I have noticed. I have never heard an interview where the domme either wasn't mistreated by men or has no sexual interest in men, could be wrong though. I'd also argue that you don't just accidently become a domme, as with most professions, there also has to be a natural pull there, most women don't become dommes despite the money, hence my curiosity. Also, a few people seem to think I'm a big fan of Freud, I barely know much about the guy, so whoever you think I am please don't make any assumptions, because you're completely wrong. Not a redditor either haha.

I appreciate you being a bit more level headed than our friend here haha, but I feel the same as you now, a bit more baffled than before I asked the question. Sexual preferences are just so weird, but I reckon you can aim/control them to some extent if you wanted to, aka if you don't like something, I personally think you can change aspects of it, but you can't change it entirely. That's what I like about this game over other femdom games too. It's not as depraved (not kink-shaming, just not a fan of the more extreme stuff) as other games and it's a bit more light-hearted and optimistic. Also I like the relaxing feel of the game too. I used to hate my kink because it always was at odds with my personality. But games like this show a slightly more playful side to the kink and the game is not entirely soul crushing like in domina or ToT for example in some game over situations, although still playing into the fantasy. Also, kind of adds to the enjoyment if a woman is behind the game instead of a man, not sure if you guys feel the same. But yeah, I just find all this stuff interesting!

Don't be depressed buddy, as I said, I think there are healthy ways to integrate it into your psyche, and you have something that maybe "typical" guys may not have in that you have a desire to make sure your lady friend is also enjoying herself and receiving pleasure because that's the whole point of femdom really, you get off on the woman using you for her pleasure, as long as you find a healthy balance I reckon it can be a force for good and actually make you a stronger man, not a weaker one

Also, thanks for the game Lina, as I said I really appreciate what you're doing and I really like the music/feel of the game, you genuinely helped me see this side of myself in a better light
