Test offline version release next week
We're planning to release offline version of 0.9 next week. It's a work in progress, so for now it's won't have authorization and automatic updates. It will also only come out on PC, Android and OS X versions will stay online for now. Since there's no way to link up to the server, the game won't have a way to load your old saves and you'll have to start a new game. But once you do, your save files will be located on your PCs, and you'll also be able to keep using them after releases of new versions.
Many of you remember our war with piracy. We tried for a while at the start of BB, but we gave up pretty quickly. Glamour has a client-server model, which gives us ability to update the game in real time and as a side effect of also giving us protection from piracy. Unfortunately, the price is too steep, sometimes we have issues with the server which can be clearly seen in the game.
We're taking a big risk releasing an offline version of the game. But it should be a win for the players, so let's try it.
0.10 will come out in January on the same schedule as the previous versions. 0.10 will have automatic updates and, hopefully, option to save at any point of the game (except in the middle of dialogs and events, of course). We're working on this functionality right now and we hope to finish it on time with the release of 0.10.

I now finaly have a 3/11 for the bath after another 2 weeks of gameplay time (after the lot of weeks I already played before).
And I have played 2 weeks after I got the 3/11, but then he won't show again so if he shows up once in 6 or 8 weeks of gameplay time I think we'll be at version 1.90 of the game before they both are 11/11....
And I buy al the studies and the 2 hour versions after I have completed the whole study so I won't have a lot of money for the next version

Why oh why oh WHY can't DS give save files to his patrons... I mean, yea, that's a lot of work, but is playing the entire fucking game from day 1 again!!!

Has anyone else examined the GPU and Network usage of the game? Is it normal? I've had the bad experience of installing a russian game before that has a cryptominer in it, so I'm a bit paranoid.
Edit: I just read that it downloads data when it starts. But I don't know what data these are, and how they are used. I guess, I'll just have to sandbox the game itself so I won't have any nasty surprises.

I haven't seen any indication of that being the case, however you'd trusting that to remain the case if you used their software without taking precautions.
