I just found out that there is a 2016 version of Glamor. If I play this, will I know the story after version 0.1?

This is a city map with most of planned locations. We're not going to add all of them at once, of course. Soon you'll be able to go to Kate's house, college, fitness club, mall and sex shop.

Moving between locations will always cost two resources: either time and money, or time and energy. Currently the game doesn't have those yet. In the future we'll add an option to move around on a bicycle or your own car.

In the future we'll add another maps with several locations: cottage village for the wealthiest NPCs, apartment block for NPCs to live in and some other locations.

Probably the only part of the game that he's shown and that I can say is very good and does have a ton of potential for the future but unfortunately still won't play it not at all interested in the FMC and the online side needs to go

Would be great if other devs had such abilities and ambitions when it comes to UI. I would totally prefer if DS could work on BB as well so Glamour wouldn't be rushed by patrons. Looks amazing

If your asking are they the same and contain spoilers for 2018 version? no, cause 2016 version and 2018 versions are 2 different versions (2018 is a remake and highly improved)

If other devs spent 3 months developing just the UI, I'm sure they would reach similar results ;)

Nyah, doubtful. When it comes to UI DS is just much better than vast majority of our devs. He has other obvious problems but programming is his strong point. But to be honest your words made me sad about condition of our market. In normal market development of UI might (and should) take much more than 3 months. Patreon is such a crappy model that sometimes I wish they would remove all adult games from it to force normal, heatlhy model of development.

Am i wrong or all that idea with map and bicycles and transport is just copy-paste from Superpowered and Man of the House?
Some basic ideas are implemented in other games but it's about their visual and funtional side in which DS is great. MotH is a really bad example tho as it's BB's clone and even tho it's mostly well made it has barely anything original in it.

So, this game, I guess it's really not worth playing if you're not pledging it, correct?

Eh to me originality isn't always the important thing, execution is. And BB had a shit ton of poor executions. From the bad dialogue to the grindy gameplay. And it bums me out because the renders are very high quality. Now I don't mind the female protag for Glamour, I actually wished he kept it just that for now because it will take forever to get any meaningful content out. Instead it will be hours of clicking to see a scene. MotH quickly became a superior game then BB on its characters alone IMO.

I was talking mostly about UI. BB's popularity clearly shown its superiority in this aspect as except for renders everything else was poorly made indeed. Not to say that BB had it much more difficult as UI wasn't a copy (tho it had some LoP ideas) so DS didn't know what should be fixed. MotH is also grindy and I wouldn't say it's something bad. Many people say it's terrible that there is a grind in a game but real market and BB itself show that grind is extremaly popular. I really like it when it feels like it leads to something. I don't defend BB as it became terrible but in my opinion DS is undoubtely talented when it comes to UI design and programming.

Iirc he had background in those areas, and ya i don't recall any bugs like other devs.
And about the grind, BB just went overboard with in game. I don't mind a bit of grind (as you say a feel of accomplishment), BB didn't have a good balance of payoff and work. Anyways good talk :)

For me grind in BB was just on point but there was barely any payoff for that. Mostly because of poor writing. Maybe Glamour will be worse and grindy but at this point UI looks really decent. Writing is still clunky (masturbation scene with 2 sentences) so it's really hard to properly judge it for now. Maybe in a year

Looks very promising. Looking forward to following this game now that Big Brother is "onhold". Love the fact that it is going to be more sandbox based, would like more games to be sandbox, instead of the standard visual novel story type.

I tried several times to play Glamour, but eventually boredom drove me away. As a fan of Big Brother, I really wanted to like this game, but there is nothing to like. Even when I skipped over the long pages of dialogue, staring at two cardboard cutouts while lines of text scrolled by was exhausting.

In Big Brother, Dark Silver magically made each of us believe that we were the brother waking up to find sister Lisa masturbating to porn on her cell phone. Clearly it was more than just beautiful artwork.
