Just to give my two cents here - I liked Big Brother, though not all of it, in general spanking stuff is not overly interesting for me, but I considered it well made and good story telling, actually fun. Same goes for the punishment story line in Kate's story.

I do prefer the exhibitionism / voyeurism aspects of both games. That even includes the kind of ridiculous - but very unique - idea in Big Brother with the hidden cams. I would call that idea genius, but I tend to overdo things. Even topped with Alice doing Cam-Shows while secretely being broadcasted via the hidden cam in her room. I really liked that concept.

So merging both games together and the way DS did it was a very nice surprise for me, especially Kate finding out what Max did and kind of accepting it, playing a long was just fantastic - as I said I like the exhibitionism / voyeurism aspects.

To me all this is pretty great, although I agree it is a bit to Max-centric. Apart from that Max is all in all pretty annoying and you don't really get it why the women fall to him unless he can blackmail them to do what he wants - by the way, I like all blackmail paths in Big Brother with Alice (smoking events and whether he helps her with the spider in her room and to which price).

Still this leaves players of the KATE story frustrated as there is a huge setup for great events (like someone wrote above already, naming most of them) in her own story which seem to be totally left behind. Just to name one, all the college mates we maxed out our stats with, teachers and so on... I still did not get anywhere with cheerleading, but it is pretty obvious that this stuff would open up great opportunities. And so on.

So for the KATE story te merging is pretty great and so, but it really is time to get back to the original story. The game is super-overly-grinding and complicated, and so it is pretty annoying not to finally be able to reap what we sowed in hours and hours of repetetive gameplay. To me the good thing is that the pacing in the Villa is much better and much less pain in the ass than the Kate story. If DS reviewed the whole game and applied the pacingof the new BB/Kate-merging parts it would be great.

What you like (hidden cameras) is what I don't like, I don't mind exhibitionism or even voyeurism (but it's not my thing, and I prefer to skip voyeur scenes) but I hate all cameras stuff. Even more so when Max is selling the private roommate/family life. For me, the possibility that Kate would report Max and send him to jail for a long time was appropriate.

As long as Max's story creeps into Kate's, I don't care how the rest of Kate's story progresses, I'll be out.

I'll only come back if I can choose to flush the whole Max story down the toilet.

And blackmail is something that I don't like. In Kate's story I say to Oscar (The guy that blackmail Kate if I remember well) that he can go get his ass fucked with a broomstick (not literaly, but is that I want to say him)

2 cents. I'm playing Kate for her lesbian content because I have a slight fetish about women doing each other. I would especially like Kate and Angela doing some hostile/power-play, girl-on-girl sexual tension relief. Or Veronica getting in some confrontation with Karen and casually out-dominating her and ending up in a causal relationship while Kate furiously peeps on them and maybe joins them.

I play Max's story purely for the sex images, because as a man I don't like being a petty, sneaky perv. Go hard and mighty or go home.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but if you are a patron remember what DS promised. On Sept 20th he released v0.30 with the agreement from the polls that we allow him to do smaller updates as long as he did a smaller release every 5-7 days (this is what he himself suggested). Well v0.31 released 21 days later. He is now doing one SMALL update per month vs the 3-4 small (individual scene) updates we were promised. So he is just doing less and less content and milking Patreon for more money. Keep in mind this is the same guy that has not been able to complete a single game in almost 6 years as a developer. He just reuses his same characters, stories and sometimes renders and just keeps relaunching the games over and over. Never completing a single one. I really regret being one of his patrons now after realizing what his tactics are. Consider he has almost 2000 patrons with the minimum paying about $5/mo and almost 380 in the $40 tier (from poll results numbers). This guy is basically minting cash for someone from the FSU. I highly suspect he even outsources his work as well. He openly admitted to having someone do the game clients for him, so it would not surprise me if he has contract artists doing renders too. (I am guessing this after reviewing some of the textures and iRay shaders used differing from update to update on the same characters).

I am no fan of DS, but damn, having ~400 people willing to pay 40$ a month for your game is seriously impressive. I still think it's a terrible idea to give them so much power over the course of development, but apparently it's successfull.
And I agree, with that amount of money, he could do way more. For example hire a game designer who actually knows how to make the gameplay fun or a writer who has a greater range than "magical dicks."

This game is boring AF. Its just a weak slideshow with extra steps, which are endless clicking to get a +1 image, and meaningless walls of text.

There is a bug on the travel screen. It's been in game for multiple updates. If you click the windowed ("restore down", upper right of game screen) you can see the travel buttons. After travelling, restore the game size.

At least when DS figures out that he HAS to drive the story forward, he might actually stop shoehorning Max in everywhere.
The way I see it right now is that he's getting the Villa content done and dusted before he moves on to another aspect.

The way I see it, there are just so many kind of slimy things DS has done to piss off/string along patrons if they really stop and think about it. For this next build, he first posted a poll "Should Olivia be single". That lasted like 5 days. Then "Should Olivia still be blond" then something like a multiple choice of 5-6 options with "Should this next update have Olivia". This freaking wasted over 2.5 weeks of his supposed Dev time. Then he comes back at the last minute... Sorry... so busy... no time to complete a full update this month. Here is one scene than I am working on next. He pretty much guided the entire poll and knows what content he is going to do, but wastes all his supposed time now with polls. Then justifies his low output with "I really thought about doing something else... but the fans chose X". I mean - come on. He is supposed to be a developer. He has been working on this story line now with his various games for almost 6 solid years. You would think he could just do the story and not justify delays with polls that really mean nothing.

Haven't seen any of Kate playing maid having sex with Max, can't move past this and the main BB quest is just repeatable event in Alices room with Kate.
After Alice caught Max 'practicing' on Kira a threatened to blackmail, there was no next conversation.?

Should we expect a convenient save editor or cheat mods or mods in general that will reduce the amount of grind? Because every time to go through this grind is no longer funny.

The patch that was posted in this thread has a money cheat option. But no real way to anti-grind. This game is a glorified picture flipper VN with only one real path option for either story side. You just have to grind through it.
