Does anyone know where the saves are for this game? I'd like to keep a few copies of a 'just started ovulating' save so I can get pregnant with different monsters quickly without having to skip the opening cutscene a bunch of times.

That, or where is the 'test gallery' mentioned in the control/help screen? Going 'right of the house' just gives access to the map.
Folder button in the new game window on either the world settings or player settings page will open the folder where the game stores the world/player starter profiles, as well as the save games in another folder.

This game looks interesting. I hope it would evolve and get more content and mechanics.
Just curiois is that some error i got on my game or that was intentional? For some reason when PC get some interactions with locals she is filled with 200-250 ml each time and get Belly Growth level 3, which make her slower and blocks dodging.

It's in Appdata/LocalLow/RolandaGame/Global Mutation/World/. Incidentally, this game has the most cursed savegame format I've seen bar none (a separate json file for each slot in your backpack??? why, dev, what were you thinking?).

I also wondered about that - apparently .

Some more thoughts about the game, since I noticed the dev reads this thread:
  • it should be "crusher", not "crasher"
  • the menu shouldn't remember what submenu you're in when you close it. E.g. press Esc - go to Controls - press Esc to close menu - press Esc to open it. Currently you see the Controls again, which is very unusual and you should just see the general menu.
  • It would be nice to have descriptions on items like the "repairing kits" to know what they're actually for before you can obtain and test one.
  • The crafting mechanic is needlessly tedious - why do I need to drag items from my inventory to their slots and drag the result back? Probably there shouldn't be slots at all, and the crafting interface should just take items automatically. I do note that this creates a problem of how to pick which tool to take durability from... probably there's survival games that have solved this problem and the good solution can be taken from them.
  • It should be possible to save at the bed without sleeping; currently it's very annoying to press E and then press E as soon as you can to stop sleeping. Also, it would be nice to be able to sleep faster, or even just set the time to wake up on.
  • I still have yet to find a saw, which means I can't make a stick to cook my several shelves worth of seafood on. That's a bit silly - I think these recipes should just take a twig, or even nothing except the food.

this is probably rude, but can you change the playable character to be just a "kemo-mimi" instead of full furry ?

Yea.. when I was digging around in there myself, i thought the same.. why is everything separated out.. but honestly.. beyond the cryptic naming conventions for each main container name (which seems to persist save to save) it makes it real easy to save edit items and what not.

Trial and error as shown most char stats are derived, so changing them directly doesnt work, as it all based on the attributes, which at least in the save and initial char profile, you can edit up to be pretty high. Item stats, some are derived it seems, change a food ID to another, and it does update in game accordingly, but for things like clothes, they are all cloned copies from whatever hidden in-game template or rule set, and then are their own objects. Clothes with boosted stats, weight reduction, boosted carry, boosted speeds, etc, all get retained. Great way to "mod" the game for fun and to play the grind the way you want to play the grind.

How to relocate sumthin U built like the "WorkBench"? ?w?
I think you need to hit the red hammer button when interacting with the object. have not tried myself, so i have no idea if you get the materials back or not.

and the item list - there is a list on the discord. Yours is fairly clean, but if someone wants closer to the raw original, here.

At least for some of what you mentioned, yes.. I share the need for tooltips on items in the stations - and the inventory back and forth, but its not too bad. Theres been mention of suggestions on the discord.

Beyond the initial world setting for how fast the game goes, sleep seems to go at its own pace, and saving happens as you go to sleep, vs during/after sleep is kind of a good thing in some cases from when i was save editing.

Handsaws, and really any tool----beyond finding them randomly in the upstairs apartments of some stores - the tool shop is a yellow and white brick building with a doubledoor entry - looks like weird "tree" shelves thru the outdoor window".
As teach town visit randomizes the stores - a tool shop can spawn just about anywhere it seems, but iv had success with them on the top path of the town, and sometimes the crossroads street before the east exit street. Iv seen it spawn though in the west entry street as well, so its all possible.

The stores with upstairs apartments that will sometimes have a cabinet in the kitchen area with chance for tools to spawn can be found in the fish shops, and the "grocery/fruit" stores. I think its just those 2.

The clothing store, bakery store, coffee shops, fancy restaurant, bar/restaurant, .. i think there is one more type im forgetting, either dont have an upstairs, or their upstairs doesnt have really anything to balk at, or interesting inventory, just more of the same.

Incidentally, this game seems to (based on decompilation; I don't see any mentions of it in the devlogs) have a modding system - at load, the game looks in the directory Global Mutation_Data/Mods for all files without an extension and attempts to load them as AssetBundles. I don't know much about Unity so no idea how to produce an AssetBundle of your own content, but maybe that'll be helpful for someone. It should be possible to, say, add extra items and recipes to the game that way (since the game stores both only as assets).

Yea i have no idea what to do with Unity stuff either, but thats interesting. Theres lots of varying discussion about future ideas and content on the discord, which I guess that alludes to. Im normally not really that much on furry stuff, but the way things are implemented here are good, the action is good.

I usually dont like Unity games cause i cant edit/mod it easily. I like Twine(Sugarcube) & Renpy games. Even QSP games. I can edit those. I can get a console to muck with stuff. I cant do that in Unity. Im no coder, i can just read enough of Twine and Renpy, etc to get the gist, and i can fungle my way thru some minor edits to tweak games as I please. But at least with the saving so open in this.. I can get by. Id have much less fun with this game w/o it.

Actually if dats the case 4 modding, I may give it a try when I get done playing Non-H game Space Engineers 2(which will be released on Jan 27 in STEAM), I think I can do the same modding as my mod in LINK: ThornSin. :3

No. At least .. i dont see any convos about it trying a couple common key words, but.. I noticed that as well and I think its less of a bug.. and more a "here's at least a chance at a few rando items in case you loose everything" kind of situation. Especially for something still this early in development.

Dat does take the realism a away a bit. X3
Although if dats a feature the dev should warning other NOT 2 use it as a storage unit 4 storing UR item as they get WIPED (Lost 40 silver coins). X3

Yea.. again.. its in very early dev still. But yea it should be mentioned at some point. All the other storages in the house plus the ones you can make with the crate are fine though... Its just that one nightstand that does rando generation.

Silver coins have no purpose right now. The copper ones (full 20 stack) can be melted to a copper bar.. although there is no use for copper bars right now. Otherwise once you get access to the vending machine at the park.. the coins can buy some cheap foods.
