After playing it, I did find the story quite decent and lot of similarity to "The Departed".

The paywalled choices were a bad idea. Your game is gonna be review bombed just for that even if we pirates can bypass it with a mod already.

I feel like a puppeteer controlling the strings and not immersed in the story. This Idea would have been great for the movie but not in an interactive game. Also both the MCs have the same love interests which is a major turn off for me. It also makes the overall story a lot less appealing. Good luck to the dev tho.

While the plot isn't completely foreign to many of us, it's unusual for an adult game to put this much effort into a cinematic plot, and I enjoyed it for that. It's better with all of the options available to get a better feel of whether or not you like it. My recommendation would be to not block any choices on the first chapter, or maybe delay the unlocking of choices to incentivize patrons. Good luck. You have my interest so far.

Your Idea is quite unique but here is the problem. People intended to play as one main character. There are other game that have Multiple Protagonist but in those games most of the time you control One Male character and One or Many female characters to decide for them & Vice versa. But you on the other hand have two main characters who are going to try to Cuck each other that's gonna make game play quite messy. One thing you can do is to add an option to choose between this main characters. People can choose their main character at the beginning of the game. They can play as the Undercover cop or They can play as a double agent it's up to them. This way player can choose cuck other or he can cuck him self it's up to the player.
It can be even a good trend in the future if you can make the gameplay and story telling interesting for players.

Best example of this kind of plot is "Dual Family"
Is this game player can either play as Dad or Son at the beginning of the game.

Good luck Dev hope you would think about the idea. It could be helpful for you and for the players out there who wants to enjoy your game.

I don't like the idea whats behind this paywall thing ... But for an Newcomer Dev (because i don't know him till now), many people never saw something from this Dev, so it is not really a good sign when paywall is already a thing. This is alone something i say at the first moment, no i'll never support this style (Not one fucking good dev need this).

The multiple Prot is something i never liked, because in the most vn's you can't even get a feel for a solo prot and here you have this double Horror.
