I thought if you wanted to be with dad you couldn't be with Arthur. How did you manage that scenario.

Stay on the Dad path, but at the funeral agree to have dinner with Arthur and keep seeing him.

There were a number of things I was hoping would be in the game... chief among them being more The Wheel and a choice for Ash to change her hairstyle based on what path she was on.

Actually, you can't be with both of them all along the game. I think you can find some clues to achieve it in the walkthrough.
From what I remember:
- You have to play "full dad" and reject Arthur when you have to choose between him and Bernard. Then keep on your relationship with Dad.
- Eric have to die so that Arthur ask Ash to stay with him (I think you need enough bad points to trigger it but I'm not sure)
- Have dinner with him, let him drug you and keep on your relationship with both of them

There is actually a path where you are sleeping with Dad, screwing Ethan and your Mom and Arthur, it's not an ending but you can get this scenario during the game.
