There is a tomb in last game (SotTR) that reminded me of The Goonies:

One document, I think it was the first chapter, also mentioned an ape-like creature that kills only the men and takes the women to its cave for mating purposes which is definitely a reference to Goons Raid Her.

Just downloaded this, looks promising, but as soon as I arrive at the second scene, the storage room, the guy automatically keeps walking to the left, which makes it impossible to do anything.

The game reads a generic "horizontal" axis input. Some uncalibrated input device might be sending an undesired "left" signal.
Do you have a joystick connected?

I was thinking along the same lines, but no: nothing at all. Keyboard and mouse, that's it.

have you tried both D and right ??

So are we still supposed to get some stuff added to earlier content, because there's that option when viewing the bedroom camera that's locked as well as a line that says there should be a scene playing overnight in the jail cell that will be added in future updates. So is that content that just hasn't been added yet or was it forgotten?

Yes I have: no change. Another weird thing: when I scroll down the savegames list it also keeps scrolling upwards. Weird stuff...

Finally found the culprit: the software that came with my mouse, to set button functions, etc. Very weird that this has an influence on keyboard controls...
