Just an idea, but you should try making a 'Save 13' in-game first, and THEN overwrite that with the file from here.

Ok, let's see. Part II had Headpats, Handholding, proteccting and amazing romance progression (for an h-game). This one has... generic corruption/prostitution and rape.

After Gran Ende II, first and third parts just feel... generic. There is already a myriad of h-games of "heroine corruption" type and they all follow the absolutely same boring formula. There is no special appeal or advantage over others.

Gran Ende II was a breath of fresh air, pretty much this publisher's gem. Why they wouldn't stick to the the same formula in part III is puzzling.

Part 2 has sex, and quite a lot of it. 4 heroines with tons of content, great progression and integrated into main story to boot. This is what I praise the part 2 for - interactivity in setting AND sex.

It makes it stand out - far too many games (incl part 3) are just average JRPGs when you are occasionally shown a H-image set. No story integration, no investment in the characters, none. If I just wanted to look at still pics I'd visit e-hentai.

Neither do I, but part 2 deserves recognition for letting player choose this kind of playstyle if they want.

Gran Ende 2 was boring AF after the first one. It's fine if you want something like white bread compared to the wheat of the first game, but changing the series from corruption based fuckfest to headpat simulator wasn't the way to go. Should have just been called something else since it wasn't connected in any meaningful way to the first one. Fact is 3 is a return to form based on the first game and is actually the second in the series whereas 2 should have been the start of another series entirely.

Its story wasn't super original by any means, but the same could be said about the first and third game. I feel like both games have their good points and it's kind of pointless arguing about it because y'all are comparing apples to oranges. That said, I do think the other guy was out line first for complaining about this game not being similar to the second. Just let people enjoy what they enjoy, dudes.

You are right, apples and oranges. I was merely noting the over-abundance of "corruption" type games over those that have meaningful character/relationship development.

Oversaturation breeds boredom, and that is why part 2 felt far more original RELATIVE to the regular type of "fuckfest" games we get here. Nothing else.

There's an overabundance of many porn genres, my dude. I assure you, vanilla sex/relationships is one of them. Harem is another one of them. Basically-adopting-a-girl is another one of them. But again, it sounds to me like corruption isn't your thing. And that's cool and all, but this thread isn't about Gran Ende 2 and the people playing this game enjoy corruption. You're not going to get much support here.

If I remember right, you get the best armor & weapons in the game. I don't remember if it impacted the story dialog at all. Not worth grinding for it in my opinion. If you want to fool around with it, I recommend a save editor to get ridiculous stats to make it a breeze.

I see not worth it IMO as well. Thanks for the reply and I would have probably went with cheat engine to do it instead of grinding like there is no tomorrow.
