Oh man, I have several paragraphs about this topic if you search the thread. And I just replayed from the beginning and there is some odd stuff around the "deaths" of the parents and sister. The parent's fighting all the time and the sister basically hiding from them often, meaning that she might not have even been near them when the plane went down if they had been fighting. It took over a year to find the plane, but the MC was told that there was someone "in his mother's arms" that must have been the sister. The kind of lie you tell a kid to give them closer and not because it is true. Not to mention that isn't how plane crashes work anyway. A year in the water and you wouldn't find two bodies holding each other. The water movements alone would have drifted them apart and fish scavenging off the dead would scatter them as well. A year on land and same deal, if it was a flaming crash then you'd be lucky to tell where one body ends and another starts, a year later and all you've got is a pile of burnt bones, if animals haven't dragged them off.
Though the parent's bodies were supposedly identified, anyone who has ever read a story, period, should be able to see the possible thread left open for the little sister's return. No body confirmed, means that character could come back. It's story craft 101. Every Telenovela, soap opera, romance novel series, tv series, any entertainment really has done it. No body means possibility of life. Hell, even JRR Tolkien and GRR Martin uses this trope. Elven relics and burnt bones prove nothing. Even in the real world this holds true. You can't have a murder without a body... I could keep going but I don't want to beat a dead sister,
Personally, I think the MC's sister is Polly. But, if I were a betting man, I would say that even Moonbox is undecided, more than once Moon has said that there isn't a lot of planning involved and over writing so it's entirely possible that Moon has left the door open and has yet to decide if the story will go through it. Not to mention that there are two and half years of story to fill in so something interesting has to happen eventually, and a return/reveal of the sister is a pretty interesting plot point. Especially since Moon has indicated there won't really be any more love interests added.
The basic point is this: there is nothing inherent to the story that would prevent her from coming back. It would not create any plot-holes or inconsistency to do it. It all depends on if Moonbox wants to or not. And unless Moon has said otherwise elsewhere that I haven't seen, the door is open.
I rest my case for the time being...

I reached the same conclusions and when I mentioned them in a post, asking MB if I was wrong, he didn't "answer" but, left a <3 in the reactions. To me, that was explicit confirmation. Melissa "Lisa" is alive and will appear in the story, maybe even join the Harem, who, how or when, I'm not sure is already planned. We can hypothesize that she's already been shown, but, I don't think so, even if the "amnesia trope" is invoked. In that case why would she be in that town?
To me, and I am nobody, the best, most plausible, situation is that after the crash she was saved by someone and has been living in a remote location, since she's now coming of age (Maybe someone can confirm, but I think she's the same age as Catherine) her "savior/captor" released her or she's rescued and is returned to her family. Since Grandma's House isn't too big on Drama, this may work.
I would really welcome her, it weighs heavily on the MC's psyche and I want the guy to not have nightmares anymore, I know 1st hand they are no fun. I would like to have her there to see Anne being born... Maybe that's too soon... but, it would make me really happy, MC and Lisa really need that.

Well sry to critic you then but your indian society showcase is very poor though indian cultural look you have done well what i mean by that is indian society does not behave like this especially in a place like USA where this is taking place if i am correct in 99.9 percent of the cases today if a bride does not like to get married she does not have to i know of at least 6 village women over the age of 30 not marrying despite their parents asking them to they work and instead take care of thier property this is in rural india the cities are much the same most hindu women in particular do not get married these days until over 26 years of age and kids over the age of 30 are the norm now however only the muslims of india have younger women marrying as india does have a muslim personnal law which allows them to marry girls at a young age even 15-16 but they are the exception the rest of indian society does not follow that path. plus the treatment of priya over not able to have kids nah that does not happen people divorce way to quickly in india if things get bitter like that despite what reports you may see on the net indian divorce rates in the cities is increasing due to cheating by women as 7 in 10 women in india cheat whereas only 4 men in 10 cheat having seen what cheating does to a man i know as friend of mine and he suffered from paternity fraud this storyline i find truly despicable. though i can say that cheating and paternity fraud is increasing worldwide but having seen it first hand the effect on that 9 year old kid is just wrong so if you can kindly take that part out having someone else raise some other mans kid is just cruel and hateful and much like anywhere else the laws are stacked against the man even with paternity fraud even in india. anyway sorry for the long comment just hope you can change that otherwise it is a very nice game.I apologize in advance for the terrible joke.

The story is also set in a fictional place, the majority of male character where this is set have been shown to be less than honorable. Also, enclaves of Indian people outside India may be more or less traditional than the majority of people in India. I know this from personally experience with Indian people I know here in Texas, USA. The same way that a Chinese family living in New York for the last few generations would not really be the same as a Chinese family living in Guangzhou right now. And the developer can decide how this fictional group of displaced Indian's behaves and which traditions they adhere to and don't. You should try not to bring in real world preconception to a work of fantasy such as this if you can avoid it. And if you cannot then you should know that Priya and all the content linked to her can be avoided.
